I had 3 epee blades rewired and bought a new blade. The rewiring was excellent - neat and securely glued (and it works, with the right weight and travel). The new blade was a good price and tang cut to size. Everything was shipped together, well packaged so nothing could get damaged. Good communication through the experience too. (Btw, sending epees through the post can be tricky, but UPS signed-for delivery works!)
Highly recommended and will shop at Excalibur Sports again.

I ordered two wired foil blades in two separte orders through Excalibur as recommended by my child's fencing coach. The blades are extremely soft - the coach was surprised at how easily they bent making presicion movement challenging. He's advised I replace the blades after only 5 weeks of use. I emailed Excalibur to ask if they'd had similar issues on previous orders and had no reply. Tried phoning as well but no answer.

While the quality of their products is great, their customer service is almost non existent lately.

I ordered several training blades. They were in back order but I had an estimate on when they would receive stock. They had to change providers due to issue with their previous one but they were not able to provide a new estimate.

Now I will be out of the country for several days but I haven't been able to reach them by phone or email to change the delivery address; and I have been trying for a week.

I am starting a beginners course in September and was looking for equipment to help me and was recommended this website by someone who does sword fencing.

He recommended to me what to buy and where to start and where to purchase these items .

I purchased my first of many items to come in the future and was shocked by the levels of excellence in how my product was delivered to me and how if I had any questions about size and measurements for clothing or anything to email them and as shocked by the response to any questions or assistance I needed with my first purchase.

I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone who is looking for Sword fencing equipment to help them start or are building their equipment for beginners to advance this is the store I would personally recommend.

I ordered a replica Napoleon pistol 27 March 2026 with an expectation of receiving it by 5 April (2-5 days delivery after dispatch). This was a birthday gift for my son (birthday 10 April). I emailed Excalibur Sports 5 April to chase up the order and did not receive a response until 7 April which only stated they will check the dispatch status. I didn’t get an update so chased up by email 9/4 and another chaser email on 10/4. They finally emailed back 11/4 saying it will be dispatched ’this week’. On 15/4 the dispatch status still showed as ‘ordered’ but not dispatched so I emailed them AGAIN that day. No response was received so I cancelled the order 16/4 (3 WEEKS) after the initial purchase. Overall this has been a VERY disappointing and frustrating experience with extremely poor communication.

Although the item was on back order I received the mask within a few days. I was very pleased as it is a present for our granddaughter. Easy ordering and reasonably priced delivery. Kept informed throughout.

I tried to return an order on 12th March and have still had no response. Cannot get in touch with anyone.m

One item was out of stock. there was no communication for several weeks , a simple email sooner would have kept me informed .

The quality of your products is so high that we order from across the Atlantic. The blade is the most consistent, lightest D blade we have found. Our teens love the weight and balance. They last and the consistency is amazing. Wish shipping could be faster :)

It took three months from the beginning of December, when I placed the order, until it was delivered on 2nd of March.

It's so handy to have the gear selling the venue of the competitions. The staff is nice and the variety of products available there in the shop is good enough.
