My car went in for a recall, was able to get a courtesy car. The job was carried out promptly and the car was cleaned. Excellent service, staff very friendly and efficient, would recommend to anyone.

Superb service I couldn’t fault it

Bought a brand new Grandland Ultimate EV last January. Tried to book in for a minor recall issue and a service. Also the infotainment kept showing various different faults. I informed the receptionist and requested the errors be rectified on the service day. She quite abruptly said I would have to bring the car back for the faults at a later date when the auto electrician was in. I got a call from her to confirm my service. I said I would wait at the garage till the service was done. I was told by the receptionist that they had no waiting rooms and I would have to leave it for the full day?? The attitude of this so-called receptionist leaves a lot to be desired. If Evans Halshaw run training courses for customer service staff, I would suggest it should last 12 months. Even then I don't really think things would improve. Last time Evans halshaw gets my business. Please don't reply with your repeated reasons and how you will deal with it.

Service was good, complimentary coffee machine had no milk and was only dispensing hot chocolate.

Appalling, i bought a car from them a year ago and i got a text from them to call them to book a service or book online- the don't give you a price online so i tried to call them 6 times only to be hung up on 5 time and then someone answered the phone and said they would put me through to service only for me to state that they keep hanging up the call - the sales person didn't even apologise they just put me through anyone only to be hung up on again so clearly they don't want the business of the service only the cash from the sale of the vehicle so i will be going elsewhere but thats difficult when they dont tell you when the service was last completed even though i got the car from them!! so clearly they know or havent done it when i bought the car which i was told had happened

Bought a car recently from EH Vauxhall Wigan. The pre sale went smoothly as you'd expect (they want your cash right), but the after sales is a disgrace. Was told i'd get 12 months AA and that i'd receive something through the post - nothing to date and its been nearly 3 months. I'll give up on that. No refund of tax on my trade in for 3 weeks so I had to login to DVLA online and transfer the sale over this way. So basically they'd not sent off the V5 on my trade in. Then after 4 weeks my windows on the driver side completely fail. Rang Wigan who told me to ring Leeds (its where i'm based) and now its a sign off battle between both branches to see if this part and labour will be covered. I paid extra for the warranty but i have absolutely no idea who this is with considering they're not trying to source who funds this part, if they'll fund it at all. I went with these this time as i'd thought going to someone reputable would be better in the long run. Unfortunately its not turned out like that.

Took my car for its annual service with Evans Hallshaw. Great customer service and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything went smooth and was reasonably quick. Great experience thank you to all the staff and mechanics at Evans Hallshaw.

We visited to purchase a second hand car, found for us by the garage. Joseph was the young man who helped me through this transaction and took all the stress away. He was patient and kind and helped us to complete the sale. I would also like to mention Doreen in the Service Department who organised a service plan for us. I would like to add that when we needed a new second hand car you were our first port of call as we really appreciated the way you looked after our previous vehicle for the past five years. Thank you both for all your help.

Amazing friendly service as always with clear explanation of any work carried out. Love the video that is sent showing the underside of the car and explaining the tyre wear / brake pads and shock absorbers.

Excellent service at the Wigan branch .fitted my car in at short notice for a mot got free health check and even cleaned my car also given advice on a service plan .

It is exceptionally difficult to contact the service team by telephone. Communication is generally quite poor. I am still waiting for confirmation that urgent recall work was carried out on my vehicle at the same time as the service
