Had a great experience buying a used car from Evans Nottingham. Was greatly assisted throughout by Simon Watts in sales who was extremely knowledgable and accommodating. I found all the staff in the team who I had any dealings with to be very helpful.

We bought a used car from Evans Halshaw Nottingham, the salesman, Simon Watts was excellent throughout the entire process from trading in our old car to viewing the car we had our eye on and decided to buy, nothing was too much trouble, we were given all of the information and help we needed, the entire process was smooth and hassle free. We would highly recommed Simon and Evans Halshaw.

Picked our car up and returned it free of charge. Clear pricing and comprehensive health check.

Waited almost 4 weeks to get the overheating issue sorted. Please see earlier review from 16/09/24. Citroen Mansfield called me to let me know that they cannot do any repairs due to the very poor state that Vauxhall Nottingham had left the car in. Bolts were loose, the most alarming being the rocker cover bolts that were only finger tight. I'm surprised the cover didn't blow off while in motion. Under the bonnet was left "in a shoddy state" and Mansfield sorted what they could. This shows how bad Nottingham is when another dealer is shocked at the standard of work. This is concerning and Trading Standards will be contacted. £10k for a pile of rubbish that cannot be fixed. I need to do long journeys for my job so I have had to hire another vehicle at my expense while waiting for the promised fix that never happened. Avoid Evans Halshaw at all costs. Unfortunately I am lumbered with this car so stuck with them for the forseeable future. I haven't got the time to go to Nottingham so I expect them to deliver an equivalent spare vehicle and collect the faulty vehicle immediately. I'll keep you all posted. Did I forget to mention the chipped windscreen that they have been promising to fix?? Why can Trust Pilot not allow zero stars??

Purchased my new car yesterday which I am so pleased about. I just wanted to mention that the worker named "Dan" is AMAZINGGGGG. Very helpful and his mannerisms was 5 star! (Everyone else was nice aswell lol)

I have never bought a car remotely before but, as I am recovering from an operation, I decided to do so. The salesman was condescending: I object to being called 'darling', and once the sale was clinched, was uninterested in any after care. Well, I suppose he had secured his commission.I think it is normal to expect to see a service history of a secondhand car and I was sent a form to return to the company confirming that I had received this. I had not. My two email queries to the salesman were ignored and when I raised a complaint a flippant response came back, saying that no such feature was advertised with the car. If so, why was I asked to confirm that I had received it? Clearly the company is not interested in any kind of customer care. I would advise people to avoid this company.

The reply is as expected. No attempt to put things right. It all speaks for itself.

Saw the car I was interested in and went over to Nottingham on the Saturday. Met Simon Watts who got the keys and let us have a look round and test drive with no pressure or over the top sales pitch. Lots of cars to choose from, multiple options all set out and clearly explained. Engaged enthusiastic and friendly sales staff (Simon Watts). Found car on Saturday all sorted and collected by Monday.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I CALLED AT 210PM FOR A VIDEO OF THE CAR GOLF R AND THEY SAID YES WE WILL DO IT AFTER 4 CALLS THE MANAGER JASON SAID HE HAS A CUSTOMER ON IT THAT CAME IN TO SHOW ROOM AT 5 PM I TOLD HIM I LIVE 5 HRS AWAY I WAS WILLING TO TRAVEL BUT WANTED THE VIDEO BEFORE I PUT A DEPO ON IT OUTRAGEOUS SERVICE FROM SUCH A BIG COMPANY ALL I CAN SAY IS LIARS
