Good experience from booking in car for mot to dropping off and collection,would recommend

Car was collected in the morning and retured in the afternoon having passed it#s MOT and having 2 Renualt recalls sorted

we have been going to Durham garage for a few years they are very good

The receptionist was really good explaining everything l needed to know

We were given a two hour wait appointment and the service was completed in this time

Excellent Service, Phone Call and E Mail making sure i did not forget time and Date, Great first contact on arriving at premises, polite and new her business.

Carole on reception was once again very helpful, but unfortunately the service from the mechanic was poor. Twice I returned to the garage because my tyre pressure light came on. Then I tried to park the car back home but the parking assistant alarm was not working. Since then my wife asked what is all the white stuff on the 2 tyres I had changed. I cannot be bothered to take the car back again. I have been using this garage for many years and this is the first time I have been disappointed.

I got there to buy a car and part exchange mine. Price for their car was 18,500 so they offered for mine 2300+ 17,000 thats not 18,500 that was 19,300 so basically their manager tried to scam me with 1 grand thinking I'm retard or something. Never buy from this place. The guy who prepared the car and everything ( Mark i guess, he was a young lad ) he was very nice and polite but his fat manager trying to scam people and ripp you off. Never buy from there. 3 hours of driving and they tried to scam me thinking definitely i will accept since i drove 3 hours. AVOID !!!

What an absolute breath of fresh air this Renault dealership is. Had a problem with an AdBlue issue that I was struggling to get fixed at any garage, let alone a Renault garage. As a last resort, I tried Evans Halshaw Renault in Durham, and prayed they could help. They were brilliant. After seeing the desperation on my face, they went out of their way to help. Not only did they get my can in the same day, but within an hour of me bringing it back at the time agreed, it was fixed. A rare experience of great customer care, from the efficiency of the young lady on the service desk, and the technician who sorted the fault. I couldn’t recommend these guys enough. Thank you, you saved my life, and made sure that the most important tool in my business was available for me to carry out my work. 10/10 every time.

After 9 years of being a loyal customer I won’t be going back. My car failed its MOT for a fault that had been overlooked for the past 6 years …. The TPMS light showing on the dash since I bought the car from the same dealership. I was told they told me it needed recalibrating by JEEP ( they may have told my ex not me!). Jeep can’t fit me in for another 2 months and MOT expires in 3 weeks …. Did they care ? They couldn’t get me out the door quick enough …. Luckily I’ve found a very good place who are trying their best to get me sorted ….they could teach Evans Halshaw staff what customer care really means.
