The assistant manager of the Portsmouth Cascades store should be ( in my opinion) should be the Store manager. Fantastic customer service, nothing I asked for was an issue. Went above and beyond for me. Unfortunately I’ve got Motor Neurone Disease and the watch I’d recently purchased was no longer able to fit comfortably or correctly so without a thought he offered me to look for something more comfortable, he was attentive, friendly and professional.Thank you Dan.

Yesterday l went to place a repair to a ring into the Portsmouth branch of Ernest Jones. We were served by a young lady called Jennifer. She was Mia helpful, informative, personable and professional. After processing the repair and advising us of the procedure we went on to look at diamond rings as a 25th anniversary gift for me. Jennifer was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the items we looked at and made it a very special event for us. Jennifer added to the whole experience in both areas of retail and repair work plus advised us of valuations for insurance purposes. She is extremely versatile in her role and abilities. She is a true asset to your company and definitely an assist l would ask for to assist me with further visits to your store in Portsmouth.

Wanted a watch battery changing for a tissot watch bought from this store, told there's a 4-6 week wait due to 'covid' and having to be sent away?!! 4 staff standing around doing nothing, referred me to H Samuel who are partners apparently so send it to same place?! Pointless referral. Went to Timpsons who did it in 20 mins and pressure tested it and everything, no issues!!!! Why doesn't the store obtain the equipment to offer this service in store like timpsons does , also it would give the staff something to do!

The young man who served me, made me feel hurried and kept talking to other people whilst trying to attend to my enquiry. His manner was one of indifference and self importance. On arrival, he was scanning another member of staff for theft. Most inappropriate! He also made me feel like a criminal when I was trying to decide which item to buy. As soon as I put a bracelet down it was whisked away so I could not compare items. The product was fine but the service was very poor.

Brilliant customers service, very friendly and upbeat. Quick turn around on a reign re-size, would defiantly use again!
