Remortgage process with Nationwide
Remortgage process with Nationwide, which were using Enact as Conveyancer.
Had no issues with any of the process, and advice and documents were explained well.
Website Portal they used was pretty good and easy to navigate, and made downloading and storing documents easy.
Only fault would be the Website where sometimes it didn't update which documents had been read, probably just a small bug in the system.
Would recommend!

Efficient service for a remortgage
Efficient service for a remortgage. If you're basic tech savvy the online portal is an excellent tool, allowing you to check in, see progress and all your documentation in one place. The messaging service worked well with timely and accurate responses.
I would consider using for a purchase or sale, as my experience of traditional solicitors has been dire.

Really simple remortgage process
Really simple remortgage process. All prepared well in advance and got to interact with my case handler when I needed to discuss details. Since I last used them, the online system is far better and makes it easier to transfer docs back and forth.

Timely completion but lack of customer support
Enact handled my re-mortgage on behalf of my new lending provider so I couldn't choose them.
Pros:
- Could complete on time
- The live chat function was quick and really helpful when filling the initial questionnaire
Areas for improvement:
- I really had to ask for information around the process and they were not proactive in giving me any during the whole re-mortgaging process, so it was hard to understand the overall progress/what was expected of me
- The online portal is helpful to track progress however it doesn't update properly so it looks like you always have a lot of new documents/notifications although you have already looked at them
- The chat function has also been disabled right after I completed so I am not unable to ask any other questions on the last communication they sent me
Overall I wouldn't recommend unless you have re-mortgaged several times already and really feel confident with the process

Great conveyancers
Great conveyancers, would absolutely use again. We only had about 2 weeks to complete our remortgage (due to an omission by our lender first direct), yet somehow they managed to complete in time. Shannon was very helpful and proactive.
