Ordered car and and when I arrived to the airport the phone number provided for shuttle service to collect the er jsut never answered and gave no further option to.evem leave a message meaning I was stranded at Glasgow Airport and no way of making it to my destination. An absolute joke of a company, zero ways to communicate to them after hours. Either totally incompetent or a scam

Amazing car and staff we will rent again with Easirent

Generally positive - good car - quick pickup and dropoff -- They did have an issue accepting my AmEx card for deposit - so charged 100 quid not to use a deposit.

We were unable to pay the 1500 pound deposit for the rental car while picking it up because we didn't have a credit card. I offered to pay the deposit with my debit card but they wouldn't accept it. In order the actually hire the car we had to pay an additional 40 pounds per day, which was a fee to use debit card. This meant we paid an additional 160pounds which exceeded the actual hire price of the car itself. I don't understand why they couldn't use the deposit from my bank account as opposed to a credit card, but seems like a scam to me.

The guy behind the desk was very helpful which was the only good thing about the experience.

À notre arrivée, une panne informatique nous a bloqué 2h dans l'agence avec l'incertitude d'avoir une voiture. Nous avions déjà payé la location sur internet. Nous avons dû payer en plus une assurance qui nous a coûté plus cher que la location ! Bref, agence à déconseiller ! Aucune information, aucun document pour contacter l agence en cas de problème !

Pick up from the airport by shuttle. Price reasonable, office stuff very friendly and heady to help. The only downside is when I had to return the vehicle in the morning and the office was shut, nowhere to post the keys after parking the vehicle. Was stranded for about 20 minutes. I had to book a taxi from their office and find somewhere to leave the keys. The taxi driver was good, he took the keys and said he will drop off the keys when they open. I suggest a key post will be appropriate for early travellers like myself to post and shuttle available to transport to airport. Tax cost me £11.50, unexpected expense.

Great little 2022 Fiat 500 car and staff on pick up and drop off were very friendly and helpful :)

Called the tel provided on the email booking, went through the options and line just rang out until eventually went dead.
Went to the pick up point and Called more times.
Called again
Called again
Called again
Googled easirent Glasgow amd called them, same story. Their location is about 10 mins drive away.
Was online with booking .com who we booked through and was told to contact Easirent as I had booked with them. (I had booked on booking . Com )
Tried the tel from the email another 5 or 6 tines.
After over an hour we gave up and went to the car hire building at the airport and rented a car from Europcar for basically about the same cost. Very simple and the car was right at the door.
Drove to the Easirent location straight away to explain things abd was told to ring the tel!!!! They wanted nothing to do with the issue!!!!
Logged an issue straight away with Easirent and waiting about 6 weeks for any actual person to reply not a computer. Sent any info they wanted including pics of the Easirent building!
Now 4 months later Easirent are not accepting any responsibility and have told be I have no evidence of the calls (even though I sent screen grabs of the call logs from my phone) and are refusing any refund!!!!

Very BAD experience!! Tyre blowout on the motorway.
Metal threads showing through tyre. 2 out of 4 tyres were so badly worn they were illegal. Got photos to show this.

Noone turned up for 3 hours. Stuck on in motorway. When the tow driver finally came he dropped us off with all our luggage at the nearest services.
Had to pay £74 for accommodation, while missing out on the £115 accommodation we had already paid for in Cornwall.

Next morning we were told we had to get ourselves to Bristol being the nearest easirent office for a replacement hire car. Paid £120 taxi fare for that on top.

1) went for my booking made over the phone and it was £70 more expensive reluctantly the guy brought it down slightly claimed i was paying for two lots of insurance…

2) return the car with 1/4 of tank as they say it’s LIKE FOR LIKE the guys checked over the car 8 days later I’m being charged £78.60 for fuel.

These people are dirty scum look at the reviews everywhere else I’ll be going down to get my money back via any means necessary.

Do not use. Walk a thousand miles if that’s your only option. Contacted me 2 minutes before my collection to say the branch isn’t open come tomorrow. Stranded. No answering of calls. Deleted booking next day - told I can’t claim for refund until end of original booking slot. eventually said I could re book and they’d refund one day. Pretty shocking conclusion to lose 5 days worth of rental; incur all the additional costs of last minute transport to and from the airport to have no car and no refund. Honestly, sketchiest company I’ve probably dealt with in a long long time.

Not good - they don't explain things well and you get over charged pls don't hire from this company terrible con artists

When I arrived to collect the car I thought I had fully paid for, I was asked to pay another £120 insurance for 3 days rental! Or hand over a credit card for them to block off £1500 which would be fully taken in the even of any damage or claim. I don’t like stealth charges, they said because I went through a 3rd party I must not have noticed. The staff were very polite I think it’s the company policy that’s wrong

Hired a car from the Paisley branch, picked up from Glasgow airport by Daniel and taken to the hire centre. Swift service, polite and obviously well experienced. Gave us advice and help for where we were staying and advised on best routes for the Edinburgh Tattoo. Dropped car off and Daniel was there to take us to the airport. Interested and really went the extra mile to make the experience a pleasurable experience. Will use again and would happily recommend ! A+
