Excellent service
We had a serious water leak in the house last night, and contacted Dyno through our Homecare package with British Gas. Stephen appeared this morning and went to great lengths to sort out the problem, find the parts required and ensure that everything was working perfectly before he left. We were very impressed with Stephen who is an excellent engineer.
However, we were not so impressed with the person to whom we spoke initially about the issue last night. In the midst of trying to explain the seriousness of the leak, he attempted to persuade us to increase our insurance premium to cover any possible electrical problems as well as water and gas. This was NOT appropriate as we were trying to deal with, and get help with, a seriously worrying leak.

Replacement shower
Great service, start to finish. Delay on parts, not their fault. Fitter was respectful of property, knowledgeable, and polite, advised on new style shower controls on new shower. Would definitely recommend and use again. Great job, and peace of mind.

Great experience with Daniel and the Dyno rod team. Small leak caused by a local plumber and made worse by another was sorted within a couple of hours. So far the leak is fixed! Called on the Monday, Daniel round within a couple of hours. Quoted a fair price with some good advice on the work to be carried out. Could’ve been booked in for the next day but was around so the day after. Arrived promptly and got straight to it. Will be using Dyno rod Oxford again (hopefully we won’t need to though :D)

The engineer came today and suggested installing a new part as a solution. However, after installation, the issue remained completely unresolved. In fact, the engineer was still at the property working on it when the company called asking for payment—very aggressively and with a rude attitude. It was an extremely uncomfortable experience.
We ended up paying £192, yet the problem is still not fixed. The pressure to pay, combined with the lack of professionalism and courtesy over the phone, was unacceptable.

We had no way of knowing weather the part you supplied would resolve the issue and wrote this into the quotation supplied. Also adding that if this did not work, then a new shower would be required.

False advertisement in my opinion
On checking the website, there is a no obligation free quotation. HOWEVER the policy is to charge £190 plus VAT before any work is completed. How is that possible? Surely this is false advertising? After booking with no obligation my wife received a call to confirm the charges if we chose to proceed with any work. Needless to say I cancelled and booked with a local plumber instead who was fantastic. My advice. Give your hard earned cash to a local plumber.
I'm reply to the response dated 07 May 25... I booked via the Dyno Rod website.
