Adolfo is a legend! Smile on his face always, very pleasant and a credit to the Drivalia team. I ended up hiring two cars over two consecutive weeks and despite some setbacks with the vehicle I had hired Adolfo made it right. I was skeptical hiring off Drivalia given they’re not ‘main-brand’ but I wasn’t disappointed. Great customer service, open and transparent, and decent price. Couldn’t ask for more!

I will continue to use this hire company for times I need to hire a car as they made everything from start to finish easy and not in anyway stressful. They Ave been nothing but helpful and kind and compassionate when a sudden family emergency arose and I was unable to make bk the arranged confirmed time for the car being returned. Excellent custom skills and very helpful and understanding. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting or needing to hire a vehicle.
Thankyou to them for making my hiring a car so much more pleasant and stress free.

Took an Uber all the way to EMA airport. When I get there, they require a "DVLA Check" on my license, which fails due to a bug in DVLA's web site. There's nothing wrong with my license. They refuse to rent me a car for that reason.

They could have requested the DVLA check before letting me go to their branch if that's a requirement, or made it VERY CLEAR that it's needed. In the web site of the broker it says the DVLA check "may be needed" on the smallprint. On the email I received, it said, bring passport, driver's license, and card. I had all what was requested.

Lack of respect for my time and money, not to count the disappointment on the face of my 9-year-old son who had come with me to pick up the car.

Compete waste of money and time.

Friendly and helpful staff. Not everything is perfect but overall very satisfied with the vehicles and service I received.

the location was easy to find, i followed the map to the building and the receptionist said it was right there. the staff members Katia and Adolfo were very friendly and helpful! 10/10 experience 🥰

We walked from East Midlands airport as it was a lovely day, less than 20 minutes. Not east to find which building the office was in but we new we were in the right place.
Adolfo was fantastic, very easy to talk to and and the whole process was a pleasure. A credit to the company. Car was brilliant and a 2025 model. We will book again, especially now we know where the office is.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the desk. Found the place easy enough on Google maps, 10 mins walk from the airport and the car was clean. Fantastic service overall.

Easy hire experience, no hassle at all.

Excellent experience - very easy pick up and drop off. Very helpful mid-week when wanted to extend. I was able to reach the office directly immediately.

Used them for the past 2 months and service has been faultless. Adolfo the branch manager and reception is super friendly and helpful. Very close to east midlands airport. Will definitely recommend and use them again and again. Thank you.

Office location was not easy to find - no visible external signs. Had to call in order to get directions.
Unfamiliar with details of hire vehicle and instructions were rather too quickly provided.
There was no manual or written instructions.
Subsequently had difficulty in opening the boot, opening the bonnet when windscreen washer ran out of water and found it impossible to set the satnav - gave up!
Drivalia need to bear in mind that not all of their customers are born with the knowledge of a range of modern motor vehicle controls and characteristics.
May I suggest a crib sheet be provided with, at least, these basic details!
Other than that the handover and return were satisfactory also the car was ok.

We booked car last minute and the guy Adolgo Jimebez was fantastic, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend this company.

Car was good.
Cost of hire and ease of extending hire was good.

Handover was poor. Rushed to get keys from me at drop off time of 19.00 so he could deal with another customer.
Got a call the next day to say he’d found a chip that I was not aware of and could not prove otherwise.
Car had been parked overnight at the branch at East Midlands airport so could have happened then. Claimed he checked cctv but I don’t see how that can be.
Anyway they proceeded to apply a £80 admin charge and £80 windscreen charge.
I wish I had gone through a proper handover but I will have to suffer it.

Not happy with the return service. Will not use again.

I booked through carjet not knowing that they were part of drivalia. Carhet previously were located near the carpark, however drivilai was located over a km away at Pegasus business park. I rang them and was picked up from the long stay car park and taken to the office. I did not get the car I had ordered and he did not show me anything about how the car worked, lights turned on etc.
I checked what time the office would be opened to when I returned to drop the car off and he told me he would be there till eight o'clock. I wanted to get the car dropped off by this time as I didn't want to walk to the airport especially as it was over 1 km away and the airport buses were not running.
I left my family earlier than I wanted to get to drop the car off by right o'clock. I arrived at ten to eight and the office was closed I tried to ring them but no one answered and he said he would stay. He knew I didn't not want to walk to the airport with two bags as I had broken two ribs and my scapula about five weeks ago and they were still sore.
I definitely will not be booking with them again, nor recommending anyone to them.

They now want me to reply through the drivalia website and look under my booking, where I didn't even book the car!! Did they read my review??

Overall my experience with Drivalia was excellent. They were by far the cheapest in my area and the staff at EMA were really friendly.
