Very efficient service and very reliable

Mattress comfortable. Delivery on time.

We love our base and mattress. My husband used to sit downstairs a lot during the weekends, now he is finding it relaxing to sit in bed and just rest. We love our new purchase. Can not recommend it enough. Store and delivery staff were very helpful and friendly.

We ordered a double size headboard. It was delivered on the date arranged. More than happy with the quality of the headboard and the service received.

Ordered a new mattress and the anti-allergy waterproof mattress protector.

The mattress arrived on time. However, after waiting two weeks, the mattress protector didn't arrive. Which was supposed to be delivered by the royal mail. So I emailed Dreams, asking for the tracking number for the parcel. Thinking it was an issue with the royal mail delivery service.

A week later, I get two emails, one saying that dreams had ran out of stock, even though It was available online when I ordered it along with the mattress. In which they offered a different mattress protector as a ‘free upgrade’ as an apology. Which is not what I wanted. And felt like a bribe to stop complaints.

The second e-mail, received a day prior, said that the will be a restock in a six days, and that it will take an additional 7 days for the Royal Mail to deliver it. So in total, I have to wait a month.

Three weeks with no updates on a parcel that was supposed to arrive in 7 days. Only to be bribed with an alternative upgrade. When all I want is the mattress protector that I ordered.

They severely lack communication when dealing with mis-mangement of stock.

Which is absolutely appalling, thus I will never order from dreams ever again.

Update:

The day after writing this complaint on Trustpilot. I received an email from the Royal Mail saying that the parcel will be delivered today. Which was then promptly delivered hours later.

Which makes me question: How did they magically restocked after seeing the complaint on Trustpilot? And whether or not they actually ran out of stock in the first place.

Though, in fairness, they might have contacted a local Dreams store to exchange stock. Still, It just doesn't quite add up.

If they had communicated earlier on, that they didn't have stock. This would've been resolved quicker.

Dreams need to improve their communication between the main store, and customer service team.

Ps. Thank you to those who helped with the prompt delivery after the complaint. As I understand that they are probably swamped with orders and compaints. And appear to be understaffed. So thank you.

My new Dreams bed is exactly as I hoped it would be. I’ve had it for nearly two weeks now and am very happy with it. I love the very high headboard. Should have got this much sooner than I did.

Excellent service from order to delivery

From walking into the store, to laying on our new mattress, every step of the journey, was easy and satisfying. The mattress is so comfortable, and you get a great nights sleep, would definitely recommend Dreams
