you had almost all I needed, but no mushroom kits.

Staff at the till was very helpful as I came in to sign up for club plus and she explained everything clearly and with a smile

It was early & quiet, the staff were good together with the coffees

Pleasant place to share coffee and cake with friends and have a look at the Christmas sale items!

Dissatisfied Placed a order online of 4 Xmas wreaths to collect as showing click and collect and in stock Ordered them got email confirmation of order placed had to pay for them straight away then a hour later received a email to say sorry had to cancel my order giving no reason I now have to wait 5 days for a refund of my £30 yet it’s still showing stock available on the website not good service They should not be allowed to take customers money knowing they can’t complete the order

We went to Dobbies yesterday to do some shopping and also had a lovely lunch. Staff are always so friendly there and always so busy. I just want to thank them all - my baked potato was delicious!

Visited Dobbies cafe with a friend for lunch. What a mistake. There weren't any menus on view and when we eventually were given one there eas hardly anything on it. No hot meals apart from toasties and baked potatoes. Sandwiches were cheese and pickle, egg mayo, tuna mayo and fish fingers!! All at £7.95. The cheese sandwich had one very thin processed cheese slice with pickle with a small amount of lettuce on the side. Someone in the queue asked for ham sandwiches only to be told they weren't on the menu, even though she could have had ham toastie. By the time we received our sandwiches the drinks had gone cold. Everything was so disorganised with dirty pots everywhere and a notice telling people not to clear them away. This used to be a really nice venue but has steadily gone downhill

Good quality plants, clean vibrant store well laid out with helpful staff.
A pleasant shopping experience

Great staff who are helpfull. A clean environment to walk around. Just a shame the seed racks were nearly all empty. Lots of seeds can be planted during the winter mths. The restaurant wants sorting asap. I looked in on my last visit and it was messy. Tables not cleared and a dirty floor. I have had food there in the past and it was good but I did not eat again in a messy environment.

The grumpy/ rude man serving us at the cafe really put an uncomfortable spin on our visit.

I wanted to only try it and then without warning got charged without my permission for membership

We signed up to the new club plus for the next 6 months. So yesterday we went along to Dobbies in York the staff are so friendly usually but on this occasion the gentleman behind the counter in the restaurant was so rude to us. He seemed to resent us having a free drink, my husband had americano coffee which was really weak a bit like coloured water but when we told him he was not helpful at all shouting out to the lady who was going to put it right make sure you charge him extra 50p which i would not mind paying but the coffee should of been decent in the first place. I now feel a bit silly paying the extra for club plus if this is the way we are treated by the manager of the restaurant. In fact we should not give him any stars at all.

Went into Dobbies in York on Tuesday. Kerry was really helpful and friendly. Good shopping experience, left us to consider purchase , no pressure to buy. Prompt delivery date too.

Easy parking and a good selection of things in the garden centre. The staff are friendly and helpful but it is let down by its depressing cafe.

The plants are lovely together with the garden furniture and garden supplies. There is an added bonus of an in store Waitrose. But unfortunately, that’s it! The cafe isn’t good and gets 1 star. It was around 2:30 when we arrived. The young man serving was more involved with his mobile than making the coffee. The young lady emptying the dishwasher was determined to make as much noise as possible when putting cutlery and dishes away without any consideration to the customers in the cafe. Such a shame the cafe really cld be something special. We won’t be going back even though we joined the their membership.

Great selection of all things gardening. Staff helpful. Lovely place to shop. Prices mostly good
