Staff was really helpful no problem at all

And that's yet Another issue, with the complete and utter disregard and lack of Public Relations understanding from this outfit . . . see their meaningless response below - and the greatest Insult, not even the courtesy of giving a name ! Who wants to deal with "Team Dobbies". Think you lot need to go to Charm School.

Absolute Robbery . . . 2 scones; 1 Dried out chocolate cake; 1 black coffee; 3 hot chocolates = £22 !!!!!
Almost fell over with shock.
Rude staff - would not sell a small warmed Milk for our baby.
Massive deterioration in food quality; level of service; and prices since our last visit.
Do not waste your money here.

Waiting time in queue too long. Much better when you could serve own coffee & tea. No fruit scones so had a Christmas scone which tasted like raw pastry.

We came to use the restaurant, which did not look particularly busy but had to queue for over twenty minutes just to get seated. I am not blaming the staff as they were working very hard to cope but there just weren't enough of them.

Went today at 11.20am after 5mins waiting a lady came and told us that they are changing from Breakfast to lunch and we have to wait till noon. We went around the shop and went back at 12.05. Restaurant tables were all dirty with dirty plates still on tables. We placed the order for Sunday roast and paid, 5 mins later they came and told us that we have to wait till 1pm or we have to order something else! First do not advertise that you serve Sunday lunch at 12pm or let customers know before they will start lining up for a table not after they pay. What a waste of time! Not even an apology. I have been going here since it opened11years ago, but Since they changed their restaurant and coffee area it went down the hill. I will join the other customers that have been saying that they stopped going. Bye, Bye Dobbies

Dobbies guided by Dave on the door, really nice guy. Lovely restaurant and clean toilets which is important to me. Plants and choice of gifts and wares very good.

Have just returned from a lovely lunch at Dobbies. I had a chicken BLT and my husband had a ham & cheese toastie (although his toast was a little too well done!) My cappuccino was nice and hot and the staff were very attentive. Lovely experience. Well done Dobbies 😁

Always a good selection of plants, that thrive.

Been twice and both times the menu was short of the items we wanted. Cutlery marked due to not being washed properly. Got served a tea with a cup with tea stains. Glasses full of water marks. Won’t visit the restaurant again as the cleanliness was awful. Hardly any staff around to order then the food arrived very quick just for the staff member to of got the order wrong. Also too many plants very dry and in poor condition.

Great coffee and a really relaxing atmosphere plenty of stock and very helpful staff

Thought would give the restaurant another visit It really let's this place down
Very poor service, staff with attitude, long wait to just give order, and food no brown bread?, , but has a Waitrose included???

I met my sister and nephew at Gillingham branch. We had a disappointing experience. I do not like the idea of having to register for a table. We stood in the queue for 10 minutes. Several people got fed up with waiting and left. Eventually a very nonchalant young man wandered over to us twiddling a flower stick When asked what was the problem he just shrugged and said they were short staffed ! I suggested that the staff that were there perhaps could work a bit more productively as they were just ambling about with no urgency or attention to potential customers I used to subscribe to the Dobbies member club. All I can say is I won’t be visiting again
