Went to the restaurant at 11am. They had stopped serving breakfast early. No toasted teacakes only cake.
We had a scone it wasn't very pleasant left an after taste of baking powder. Not a very nice experience.

On a positive the coffee was good.
This is the 2nd time on a Tuesday where there has been a problem with breakfast

Very clean plenty of choice, staff very helpful and friendly.

The coffee shop was closed yet again so had to go to the main restaurant. It was not that busy when we arrived at 11.40 but order for just 2 coffees was not taken until 11.55. We waited and waited and noticed that other tables that came in after us were being served and overheard staff giving out long waiting times for service. Nothing arrived and we gave up at 12.20 and walked out.
You can’t run a cafe/restaurant like this. Appalling service.

Your range of products covers every need for all gardeners, I have never come away from your Boston store without obtaining all the items I wanted. Your staff have been very helpful in advising me fully, and during my initial visits when you first opened in Boston, saved me much time by showing me where to find items. Your check-out staff are always very polite and cheerful.

There is a wide choice in each department. Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

The only negative is the limited menu in the restaurant, if you visit regularly. Plus the last couple of times we have visited for lunch, we had to wait 40-50 mins for the food. Restaurant seemed a little under staffed.

We visited the restaurant for our usual monthly treat of fish and chips. We look forward to this as pensioners on limited income and as I can eat the batter (gluten free). This time the amount of fish in the batter was minimal although of its usual quality but the chips were inedible. The chips looked awful (white) and, although they were cooked through, tasted of raw potato. Not good at all. I did complain and was offered a free drink next time by the very helpful restaurant manager. All the staff are lovely.

Dobbies is a pleasant place to go. Drinks and cakes in the cafe are nice and the food in the restaurant is good. The cafe area which is covered is a little dark.

Excellent food and service beautiful garden centre

Called in for a browse and coffee. Small cafe was closed so went to restaurant. I was told conservatory was full so we sat in the other room. I gave my clubcard to the server and ordered coffees. We noticed people coming in and being greeted and taken to conservatory. They knew these customers and were chatting to them. After 10 minutes I enquired about our order and was told they were very busy. The coffee arrive after 15 minutes with no apology. The staff were unhelpful.
In the store very few items had price labels. The Christmas decorations were attractive but had all the price labels partly detached obviously the prices were being changed. They will stay on your shelves if overpriced.

Took my elderly mum for a coffee in the Dobbies near Boston. She absolutely loves this place. Plenty of room for a good browse afterwards. Coffee was good too!
