Very good quality shutters
Really happy with our new shutters! We have shutters in our living room from a well known more expensive company and were originally going to buy the same ones for upstairs. We came across these at half the price and, although we were a bit sceptical about whether the quality would be as good, we decided to give them a go. We’re so glad we did!
The quality is just as good as our more expensive shutters, but at a fraction of the price. They’re also fairly easy to measure and fit yourself, provided you’re a confident DIYer. Would definitely recommend!

The quality of the blind was shocking I…
The quality of the blind was shocking I was putting it together and the blind frame was splintering.
I had to get a local joiner to screw it together and fit it as the wood is so fragile.
I emailed and reported it and was offered a replacement frame but it would have been the same wood and I would have had to wait another 12 weeks for it.
I asked if the joiners £50 could be covered and was told no.

Highly recommended
Ordered a total of 10 shutters to fit 2 bay windows and one adjoining window in April 2025.
The website was easy to understand and use.
Order arrived promptly and was very well packaged and each shutter labelled to identify easily.
The shutters are well made and easy to fit following the instructions.
It was a little hard to fit the brackets behind the window seal and I resorted to using a feeler gauge that was perfect for the job.
18 months on we are still very pleased with the shutters and highly would recommend them and diyshutters.co.uk

Easy to order. Website excellent. Discounts great. Delivery was quite long as I chose hardwood shutters but I had regular updates on the shipping/ delivery status. Delivery driver was excellent. All packages received safely and in great condition.

Goods not received

Wrong measurement
I realised that I had measured the blinds up wrong after I had paid, contacted the company in the morning, and spoke with a really helpful lady who allayed all my concerns, took the new measurements and passed them on to the fitting team, we are looking forward to receiving the shutters when they have been delivered.

DIY shutters responive.
Looked at numerous companies and found that DIY shutters were offering what we wanted with best prices and clear communications.
