After posting my review my issue was finally escalated and seen to by someone who wanted it resolved. Having to complain publicly to get that far after so long is why I can't bring myself to go above three stars - I have to be honest about my experience. That said, I'd like to think I was a rare and unfortunate case, as the many positive reviews here suggest. Liam seemed genuinely disappointed that it had come to this, and clearly believed Divert usually does better - and I believe him, as he quickly resolved this when handed the case. So while three stars reflects what I personally went through, I'd still recommend them with that caveat in mind.

Told me it would be collected the day after I left for a month. Five weeks on, it's still there.

Two stars because the booking process genuinely worked well. Arranging it was quick, the person I dealt with was helpful and happy to work around what I needed, and collections were reliable right up until recently. Credit where it's due.

The problem came when I cancelled. I asked when they could make the final collection and told them upfront that I'd be away for over a month. They said the soonest available was the day after I left, and assured me my absence wouldn't be an issue. I paid the final collection and cancellation fee and received confirmation, so I left the sealed sharps box beside my doorstep for what was meant to be a single night.

A couple of weeks later, the people looking after my house flagged that it was still sitting there. I emailed, received an apology and a second confirmed collection date. That one didn't happen either.

I got back from my trip to find it had been there five weeks. I contacted them again, got another apology and a third confirmed date. That date was today. By 16:30 there was still no sign of anyone, so I called- and got another apology and no explanation of why three confirmed collections have now come and gone.

Missing a collection is understandable. Vehicles break down, rounds overrun. What I take issue with is being given a firm date, being told explicitly that my being away wasn't a problem, and then having that promise repeated twice more with nothing behind it. They knew the box was sitting somewhere publicly accessible precisely because they'd told me it only needed to be there overnight. Five weeks of clinical waste left outside a house, and at no point any sense of urgency about shifting it.

This is the second time that we have used Divert to collect our shredding sacks. Josh and Alfred are very responsive and helpful and I think it was Gary who collected our 21 sacks on the hottest day of the year! I would recommend Divert and we will be using them again!

Ben and Alfie were excellent. The price was reasonable and they were quick and efficient.

From the initial phone call to Ben, To the collection by Alfie. The process was straight forward. Also the timeline was advanced (practically next day), so I could clear the room.

Alfie and Ben really helped me. I thought big waste bins were very expensive but when I spoke to divert the guys were really helpful and I signed up to get the big bins. I have a shop so waste was getting to be a big issue for me. So contacting these guys was really helpful.

I made an initial enquiry to Divert to remove an old bed and mattress. I was quickly contacted by Ben, who was very helpful and got everything booked in. Alfie was also very helpful on the logistics side and the whole process was very smooth and efficient.

In setting up a business I have been VERY scatter brained and honestly probably quite tedious for the guys to work with but Ben and Alfred have been amazing and really patient with me. They are truly a credit to this company! Massive thank you to you both for all of your continued help :)

After sending an initial enquiry I was contacted very quickly by Ben who was extremely helpful and guided me through the process really well. He responded to all questions very quickly. After being passed to Alfie to arrange the logistics of the collection, the whole process continued to be very smooth. My rubbish was collected within a couple of days. I spoke with Ben at Divert to discuss having a 1100 litre waste bin, and he was very knowledgeable and gave me a quote for the fortnightly collections.
I can not fault Divert or Ben at all, and would highly recommend anyone requiring waste collection services to contact Ben at Divert.

It's so nice to work with a company that cares about its customers. I've only had to call customer service a few times, and each time, the two guys I have dealt with, Nathaniel and Matthew, have been first rate and couldn't be more helpful.
