Terrible service

Terrible service. They were suppose to set up all my utilities for when I moved in, when I arrived my power, gas or anything was ready to go. I was without power for 1 day and after only calling so many times with Original, direct connect and other providers only then I was able to get the power on.
I don’t recommend anyone to use this service and to go directly through the service providers.

Horrible experience

Hello, I had scheduled to have my electricity turned on today. Since I was moving, I went down in the car to get my bags to put in the apartment. When I got to the apartment, there was a note saying that they would go to the house, but they didn't call me or anything. I spent the whole afternoon trying to talk to someone to turn my electricity on, without success. It was rescheduled to turn it on tomorrow and I still have to pay a fine of $185, even though I was at home and only went down to get my bags to go up. I'm at home without any power. My experience was horrible!

Full Service Connection

The electricity and internet connection was smooth and seamless. The gas connection was a disaster that Direct Connect just walked away from leaving me to engage directly with Origin Energy which took almost a month to get an account. This is a direct contradiction to a concierge service.

At the time I spoke to your…representative

At the time I spoke to your representative I was told you would transfer my electricity and my Aussie Broardband over from 10 wesley Ave Port Macquarie to my new rental at 2/8 Ackroyd St Port Macquarie. Power transfer fine but nothing done about transferring Aussie broad band and after contacting them we've now been without internet for 4 days waiting to be connected. Very upset at this none action considering I was told they are your partners!!!

Positive review of employee

I was on the phone with Pruthvi alahakoon for about an hour- he was super super helpful and patient with me (just a girl) because I didn’t understand most of the technical stuff. He was able to help me sort out the correct plan and help me to understand what was going on.

Telephone call

I found it difficult to understand the person I spoke to she spoke very fast and had an accent. I asked her to slow down so that I could absorb what she was explaining but it didn't make a difference. I explained that I am 82 and it takes longer to process information.

Not Ideal

The internet connection was confusing as it was all self managed with no modem/router provided so I needed to research that and the electricity is still an issue as the chosen provider has not been able to read the meter.
