Faulty sofa, wrong interior, ignored requests, no follow-up
Ordered a sofa which arrived already dirty and with the wrong interior filling, nothing like the quality you'd expect for the price. The delivery team tried to clean it themselves on the spot rather than flagging it as a fault. A later service inspection confirmed a manufacturing fault, and the technician himself said he wouldn't have paid what I paid for it.
I formally rejected the sofa and asked for a full refund and explicitly asked for all contact to be by email. Despite that, I was called repeatedly by different people from the Hove branch, including once from the Horsham store manager because the store manager from Hove was off sick. I was then told I would receive a call back later that day. That call never came.
I've had to escalate this complaint twice, and weeks on I'm still waiting for a collection date and a refund. Appalling handling of a straightforward manufacturing fault, and a company that doesn't respect a customer's clearly stated communication preferences or follow through on what it promises. Would not recommend

Looking for sofa and armchairs
Was greeted by Owen. He was really helpful, showed me the area I needed to be looking for reclining sofa and armchairs. Found what I was looking for. He gave good advice on caring for furniture and offered other things I might need. Would highly recommend DFS.

Bought 2 leather type sofas
Bought 2 leather type sofas, called them out when the headrest where I sit began to bubble and come off, they came out and repolished but it was apparently my fault for putting my head on the headrest. The same thing happened some months later, same result. More recently the seat began to peel, this time it was my fault for sitting on the sofa, appalling customer service, will never use again and suggest others follow me.

With regard to the manufacturing warranties included with the order, its 2 years for issues such as Leathers, Fabrics, Inners, Stitching, Recliner mechanisms, Electrical components such as sound docks or refrigerators. As well as 15-years for the framework & springs.
As the leather issue would have expired with us a year ago, the advice would have been to see advice from the company who deals with extended warranty. The extended warranty does also have to take into account if the issue is a build up over time/ localised condition or a genuine manufacturing fault. If a fault is found it will be dealt with accordingly, I apologise that you do remain unhappy in this scenario.
