Excellent service and very friendly

We had an excellent first experience with the Grantham Branch of DFS. Our sales persons Sammi was very open and friendly and efficient.

Demi in sales went above and beyond, giving us full clarity from the brands, options, different ideas of what she thought we might like. Helped us with understanding our payment options what kind of insurance we could take. She made sure we were not rushed and that we were 100% set on the right sofa. Nothing but a pleasure from start to finish.

Sammy was lovely and really helpful when buying our sofa.

Given 1* as not able to give zero. We recently bought 2 new electric recliners from DFS , we have bought from DFS in the past and things have been good.
Unfortunately this time is not so good , within a few days of delivery we had wrinkles on the seats after just a few hours of sitting on them.
DFS came out twice but said it’s what they call puddling and we need to redress the seats after sitting on them.
On all the furniture we have bought over the years we have never had to do this and had never heard of it. So as far as they are concerned there is no fault.
We now have 2 new settees that cost £2500 they look 10 years old.
I think , can’t prove it but engineers never denied it that the furniture is now made in China , not that they advertise this.
I m now going to seek legal advice but just wanted to make people aware that what they think they are buying is not very good quality and is actually rubbish and there so called 10 year guarantee , is about as much use as an ashtray on a motor bike.
My advise is don’t buy from DFS.

Andrew was great. Gave us space to make a decision and then very thorough and friendly over advice and payment options.

Very pleased with this store, we were able to take leather samples home to match our decor, Dan was very patient and explained all our options and offers to us.

Dan at the Grantham DFS was very good, friendly, polite, and made you feel very welcome. Great at explaining all about the sofa's, warranty etc. would recommend him if you are thinking of buying from DFS.

Very good assistant Sammy with excellent product knowledge, pleasant and helpful.
However, the designs we wanted to see (Zella Torren) were not in the store (online only). How can you judge a sofa without actually sitting on it?

Very efficient, friendly and informative help from Demi and particularly Paige. Looking forward to getting our new sofa and chair in the next few weeks. Everything explained clearly and options given. Inspired trust and confidence that we had made the right decision.
