Helpful staff and plenty of stock in store to try out.

Riley was great, see me through the whole process even though I made a few changes. He saved me as much as possible and for a young man was very professional and a great salesman!

South African salesman was really great, pleasant, professional and very helpful. We wanted a recliner sofa for our small Cinema room. He recommended that we need an electric sofa recliner with head support electric adjustment when looking up to the screen. We spent some time trying out various sofas and finally settled with the 2 seater Pierson Express music power recliner with console. At the end he said... you have chosen the perfect small but comfortable sofa for your small Movie cinema needs. It's now been delivered and we are really happy with it, very comfortable as we now can relax whilst watching movies, eating sweets and popcorn and have the occasional bourbon which goes down a treat. Well done SA Salesman, good job! Sorry, cannot recall your name.

Cannot recommend this store enough. ALL employees are helpful, friendly and full of knowledge. A great range available in store and all staff are more than happy to help and are patient- fantastic if you’re between designs like myself and my fiancé were. The store manager who assisted us was able to answer all our questions and queries and gave us great customer service alongside our purchase. Thank you!

The staff at DFS Chelmsford were help, gave us loads of information and advice about the sofas we were looking at. They were really friendly and even made us a coffee (the best coffee in Chelmsford ha ha) The South African sales assistant was exceptionally helpful explaining the guarantee, extended warranty, aftercare and delivery but also wasn’t a push sales man. The whole experience was easy by the time we got home our credit had been approved.

Alex in Chelmsford was really helpful on Sunday and again today, making our sofa choice very easy and straightforward. The offer of coffee and time alone to ruminate on our choices was so thoughtful, he is an asset to the Company!

The salesman was very polite and very helpful and wasn’t pushy in any way , took the time to explain all my questions.

Lots of sofas to try out with no-one hassling you. But they were on hand if you had any questions.
Once we'd chosen a sofa they ran though some questions about pets to make sure it was suitable and then the order process was quick and straightforward.

The member of staff (Matt) who assisted us with our purchase was polite, helpful and had good knowledge of the product. Even though he was a relatively new employee, he explained all details of the purchase, delivery and care very thoroughly.
Awaiting delivery of our order, so unable to comment on that at this time.

Very easy process, all options explained to us and got the order processed within 25 minutes including the finance application. We arrived 15 minutes before closing but the staff were happy to stay late to allow us the time to order our sofa. Matthew was very helpful and friendly, great customer service.

I went to order a sofa. I wanted the power recliner with power headrests. I clearly stated I didn’t want the power plus option. The salesman read back my order saying Power plus and I corrected him and he said that he meant power plus the headrest, but definitely not the power plus option. The order checker came over, showed me the tablet to confirm my address, and then tilted it away from me and read out power plus, I corrected him and he said that he meant power plus the power headrest and I wasn’t being charged for power plus. He was shaking which at the time I thought might be a disability. When I got my email order confirmation, I had been charged for power plus plus the power headrest. I had to go in store to get it sorted as there’s no way to phone. You don’t get an itemised order confirmation so there’s no way to know how much you’re being charged for anything.

We were treated with courtesy by a very personable young man. The whole process was very clear and well explained . We ordered 2 recliner chairs which we tried out in the store. The operation and care of the furniture was clarified. We look forward to receiving them!
