Please find another company. When I bought my property in 2023, everything seemed to go ok. The problem with Davison's started 3 years after I had purchased my property. I chose to put my property on the Market on April 7th 2026, I instructed a Solicitor recommended by my Estate Agent, on the 28th April I was told by my current solicitor that the Title Deeds and the Land Registry were still in the previous owners name. I contacted Davison's immediately. I told the lady my issue, she went away and came back to tell me it's only been a year and there's a delay with Land registry. I explained it hadn't been a year it had been Three years. My house is currently Sold subject to contract so this needed to be dealt with urgently. Since then I've been messed about, I chased Land Registry myself, as every time I rang Davison's, they just emailed me back stating there was nothing they could do. Land registry then told me they were waiting on Davison's, they should have sent over two pieces of information and had only sent one. Another 10 days to wait. On 26th June I found out Land Registry had updated and I was now on the Land Registry and Title Deeds, Davison's updated me on 7th July. It's been a truly awful experience, I almost lost the buyer of my property. Davison's did not care and were not bothered about how the situation impacted me. I paid them in July 2023, my case should have gone to the completions Department within the same period so why did this company make my life so very difficult and stressful. I won't be recommending them to anyone, I’ll be urging people to stay away. If I could give you advice, make sure you go back to the Solicitor and check the completions Department have completed their job, so you don't end up in a situation like me. I would have given a zero if it were possible.

Ive read “others reviews” & seen they used the word “Liar” frequently so no need for me to write one.
In short Davison’s did not deliver the service expected by a country mile & have shown very little customer support whatsoever. I’ve inc my case ref as no doubt the response will be ‘we can’t trace you’…but here’s the rub “others” 1 star reviews are clear in content because they’ve also experienced the same treatment I did.
Be sure Davisons complaints can tailor any responses but the outcome will be the same.

Davison's really helped us with our house purchase. From the start to the end they communicated with us providing regular updates and keeping things moving.

Nathan especially is a credit to the company and handled our case very professionally.

Had a wonderful experience with Davisons Law taking on my complex shared ownership house selling case after my previous solicitor let me down.

I do not recommend Davison Law Solihull as my experience with them for the purchase of my home was not very good. They did not answer my queries effectively and kept on changing the people who were handling my file so I had to keep on explaining the situation to a different person from time to time.

The final bill was far more than what they initially quoted me because they add so much other things onto the bill which they did not notify me about at the start. Things like 'Fee for reviewing searches' is charged in addition to the searches being carried out. Which is bizarre that they don't tell people this from the start and it begs the question of what exactly is included in the 'Davisons Law Fees' as everything is still charged individually.

They also charge extra if the exchange and completion happens within the same week but they were the cause of the delay in the exchange, resulting in it being a few days before completion.
