Unfortunate. Rude. Wasteful.
If there were zero stars I'd select that option. I tried ordering twice. Packages did not arrive on time. Sat over the weekend unrefrigerated. No reply from customer service. Never got anything that I ordered. Agent hung up on me. The worst part is this a total waste of resources.

Beware costly yet subpar and tough meats
Quick delivery BUT the lamb roast and steaks are highly overrated, read tough and poor quality. The free range lamb "roast" (without a further label description) turned out a shoulder which naturally is full of tendons and tough. The Wagyu beef steaks were also way tough.
The andouille sausage and duck confit were a little better but still subpar, especially since D'Artagnan is an expensive and bragging purveyor.
Beware!

top notch! Discovered D'Artagnan via a small upscale market in Hoboken, NJ called Sobseys, now closed and open under a new name. I got hooked on D'Artagnan with their Berkshire pork milanese chops.
I then saw that recognizable logo in shop rite on the other end of town where I bought bacon and duck fat. Both excellent.
When I moved out of the hudson county area I shopped the website which has EVERYTHING they offer. Lots of great stuff, and love the new eco friendly packaging that replaced styrofoam.

Great products and fantastic customer service
I regularly order meat from D'Artagnan and it has always been of good quality and reasonable prices (for game meat anyway). They also ship overnight in a ice-packed cooler to ensure freshness. I've only had one issue with a shipment and the customer support team rectified the situation immediately; way above and beyond my expectations too. I would highly recommend them for meat and game orders.
