Communication is very limited, always seem to be in a rush. No direct answers!
Good customer service before purchasing any bikes.
Servicing was priced at £75 to £180, not knowing directly what the price actually would be. Even though the bikes are less than a year old, this was explained.
Spent a few thousand pounds on bikes, no discount on locks etc offered.
No proper time slots to book in a service. Some ppl need accurate appointments to work around their commitments.
Took the bikes to another cycle shop, charged £20 for each bike that was serviced. Obviously showing there wasn't much servicing needed.
The other shop gave us discount on a Gold rated bike lock. We didn't even buy the bikes from them.
Just shows a little time and energy and great customer service, especially after purchasing items can make a difference.

My bike needed a service, rang the shop in whitchuch, they said to fetch it in when it suited me, other places you have to book, so this was a great start. Took my bike on the thursday morning, very friendly staff, they said they would text me when ready. Amazingly I had a text Friday morning to say it was ready. Picked my bike up, all issue sorted and riding like new, will definitely come here again. Thank you.

I recently ordered a bike through my company’s cycle to work scheme, the exact model I wanted wasn’t available but Damian’s team were able to build up what I wanted.

The friendly service is second to none, at handover even though I’d arrived just a few minutes before closing he took the time to talk me through the bike, also how to look after it, tips on how not to damage it and the best way to get home from the store.

Brilliant service from a hugely respected local company.

I would highly recommend this bike shop , the guys who work there, couldnt do enough for me when I purchased a Mirider e bike which was second hand . After having a few issues they sorted everything out and made sure the bike was safe to ride however in transit the bike got damaged , they actually gave me a new one for no extra cost . Thanks guys will definitely recommend you to my friends .

I have been buying bikes from Damian Harris cycles for many years due to their superb service and great selection of bikes. Highly recommended.

1. Impossible to get through on the phone and they don't answer emails, 2. They show bikes in stock that are not available, 3. They advertise 15% discount for NHS staff which is actually not available on most bikes.

Very happy with the Damian Harris customer service once again. Bought my bike here several years ago and took it for its annual service this week. All the staff are friendly and happy to answer questions and give advice. Very speedy turnaround within 24 hours - many thanks!

Popped in with a handle bar clip repair on my son’s balance bike. Sorted there and then. Excellent service and would highly recommend for any bike repairs.

Very disappointing and wouldn’t recommend. I was charged £75 per bike for 2 child’s bike MOTs with nothing needing doing (£150 total).
I like supporting local businesses but certainly not at exorbitant prices like they charge, so stay away!

The service I received was second to none. Damian was incredibly thorough with research to ensure the correct size was ordered, as the Merida was a different sizing. He kept me informed by phone every step of this purchase & was immediately onto the delivery company, as they failed to deliver on the day that was agreed. The bike came very well packaged & built perfectly. I would not hesitate to use this shop again

My thanks to Alex and the team at Damian Harris Cycles who did a great job on my vintage 1980's Barry Hoban road bike.
The brake and gear cables were renewed along with all the relevant adjustments that were needed on both components. The rear wheel was realigned to a more central position between the chain stays.
The rhs brake lever on the handlebars was tightened and the handlebar tape was redone to take out any slack enabling a tighter grip.
The price was reasonable with the cost of items on the invoice explained to me prior to payment.

My bike feels young again!

In late January I travelled down from Hertfordshire and purchased a bike from Damian Harris Cycles (DMC) for delivery a couple of weeks later. On returning home I decided the bike was not right for me. I called DMC to enquire about cancelling the order and receiving a refund. They agreed on the spot and we arranged a refund. They put me first - great customer service. Thank you.

I recently purchased a 2023 Cube Stereo, Damian was very helpful had the bike exactly a week after ordering very fast service! Will definitely be purchasing again from here. Great bikes and good prices. Thanks again guys

This business is Price Gouging ... A Raleigh bike that retails at £1200, sold by Raleigh themselves direct for £999 and Damian Cycles want £1700! Unfair practice, may catch unwary people who cannot afford to be scammed like this, unprofessional and short term profit, they should go bust.

My Cannondale Scalpel purchased elsewhere had an issue with the forks from new. They removed and returned to Rockshox. So not much in it for them really, just a bit of labour. I dealt with several of the team and all were really engaged, helpful and friendly from start to finish. It was as if I had just bought the bike from them. A really good representation for Cannondale and for local bike shops. I'll certainly be using Damian Harris Cycles for future maintenance on my Cannondal Scalpel.
