Got the right stuff and perfect customer service with great advice. It was a pleasant experience to shop there.

Click and collect date says a week after I made the order but when I rang I was told it was ready the next day. Website needs updating.

I was served by David, he was absolutely amazing, helping me with paint colours and everything I needed to buy for my task in hand! I can’t say I’ve ever had such amazing service anywhere before. Thank you David

A DISAPPOINTING DECLINE IN SERVICE
I've been a loyal customer of the Crawley store for many years, always appreciating the professional and knowledgeable service provided by the previous staff. Unfortunately, my most recent experiences were exceptionally poor.

I needed to re-order a specific paint mix, but the staff struggled to locate my account or the color details. Despite multiple attempts and on my third visit they had to remix the paint from scratch, and the resulting color was incorrect. To make matters worse, they refused a refund, citing a policy about mixed paints that was neither clearly displayed in the store nor communicated at the time of purchase. There was also no suggestion to buy a tester pot, which would have prevented this issue.

This ordeal required three separate visits to the store, and I still don't have the correct paint. Each time, I found staff members outside, either smoking or on their phones, which gave the impression of a lack of professionalism and attentiveness. This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I've had. I'll be taking my business to a rival paint store tomorrow to finally get the correct mix.

Best price for my outdoor varnish, so i ordered it click and collect. The tins of varnish were ready and waiting at the Harrogate branch, and the staff member was friendly and helpful. Great Price - Great Service !

bought and paid online went in to collect Thursday and couldn't find the order back on Friday and only had 1 x 5 litre took about 20/25 mins to find the other one .

I ordered paint online and there was a problem with the delivery but the shop assistant was more than helpful. They calmly sorted my issue was little fuss.

Fast and efficient service, included telephone notification that my order was in the post.

I just wanted to paint my front door (already coated in oil-based gloss) - went to Wickes (poor choice) and then B&Q - who don't do oil based gloss and tried to persuade to entirely remove the existing paint, use a special primer etc etc - then I remembered Crown. Really lovely helpful lady serving - got the paint I wanted, in a colour I wanted with 2 brushes and some masking tape - at a fraction of the cost the paint was going to cost in B&Q (never mind all the extra work) - If I want paint in future, I know where to go!

If you want the best quality paints and other material, the crown centres are the absolute best. Don’t waste your money with Dulux or other brands like Ronseal, if you want professional paints. The staff are highly trained and give fantastic advice. Been shopping here for 10 years.

I made an order online. They took payment & delivery date set, days later I received a message they can't get this product anymore. I send an email asking for a refund as they can't get this product anymore.
2 days later they got one in stock. That be the one I ordered I'm guessing.
So in brief unreliable, dishonest & bit useless

Ordered one day, delivered the next! Couldn't ask for anything else really!

It's over a month later and my order never arrived

Bought a large tub of emulsion and member of staff carried it out to my car. Very helpful service.

Easy ordering and collection process, friendly staff. Great local facility for Dereham since Homebase shut down.

They were efficient, helpful and provided fast delivery.
I could place my trust in them and their reliable service.
Also, the people that I spoke to over the phone were knowledgeable and helpful in answering every query.

Great price and free delivery the next day

Still waiting on my overdue order to be delivered. No tracking. No replies to my emails. I was assured on phoning them that someone else would contact me - no-one has.

Won't use again.

Pointless reply below: When I was eventually phoned by Crown I was advised they didn't even have the paint in stock. I bought it elsewhere. All they did was waste my time.
