Countdown/Woolworths help chat is rubbish..
Countdown/Woolworths help chat is useless - I wanted to go from electronic receipts back to paper - long story short - big process if you buy a non food product that is not fit for purpose and need to return it for refund - electronic receipts are only kept for 3 months and you can't go to any website and click a radio button to go back to paper receipts - even though the agents online say you can -so it's back to Pak & Save for my food shopping from now on bye Countdown or Woolworths or whoever you are this week..
I walked into the store today to be…
I walked into the store today to be greeted with many empty shelves, two items I went to buy weren't avaliable. I expressed my disappointment at the check out to the young guy. His response " yeah what ever I don't care, think what you like". I replied " really, that's your response" so I said " this is the last time I will shop here" he shrugs his shoulders " do what you want", and I walk out. I'll never shop there again. That's what I want.
Tasteless water melon
I bought a Water melon yesterday at Countdown Bureta in Tauranga. A 2 kg water melon and paid almost $25.
It taste watery. One of the worst I ever ate, I will not buy a water melon from them again, The best ones I have had over the years where from the Farmer's Markets and costed half the price,
Also, any fruit of vegies bought only stay fresh for a day or two, How is this possible, knowing most of our produce is shipped overseas>>>???
Rude cashier
I was at Ponsonby countdown and my stuff was already paid for I was grabbing some baskets then the cashier Rudely said for me to hurry up. This frustrated me and i don’t want other people getting spoke too like that so it would be really nice if somebody did something thank you.
The countdown app scam
I downloaded the "Countdown" app expecting a simple timer or event tracker, but what I got was a complete nightmare. Instead of functioning as advertised, it hacked into my phone and compromised my privacy. My device became slow, my battery drained rapidly, and I started noticing strange behavior, like apps opening by themselves. This app is clearly a fraud designed to exploit your phone. Do NOT trust it! It puts your security at serious risk, and I regret installing it. Stay far away if you care about your data and phone's safety!
Well I'll write it again
Yeah Narh... Woolworths kilbernie got paid twice and didn't refund. Said i had to go back to winz to sort it. Of cause the double payment had gone threw, winz couldnt change it. So they gave another payout on my account. I got penalized for Woolworths mistake. The Indian woman said I held up the line. The indian women was short rude an ugly. I'm retracting the 5 star. So not happening.
Advertised food unavailable
As usual countdown in Kerikeri has Failed to supply goods advertised. We live an hour away to the closest countdown so to get there and find NONE of the advertised special for a frozen leg of lamb was not available. First a worker says oh yes at the back under other meat. Waiting waiting waiting, worker comes out, oops we don't have any frozen leg of lambs. No offer of unfrozen roast for same price or similar, just walked away. There were others waiting too. Often things aren't available but we keep hoping for better next time. But, NOOOO. Will be going to New World instead now.
What a total mess
What a total mess! I asked for delivery between 1000hrs and 1230hrs.
They have advised four different delivery times today and here we are at 1850hrs and still no delivery.
The service is rubbish, the support service is rubbish!
I am still awaiting my full refund! (I think we can dispense with any thoughts of delivery)
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Unless you have all day and longer to waste!
I had a very negative experience today…
I had a very negative experience today at Countdown Dunedin Central.
I was at checkout buying some food and one can of beer until the checkout manager demanded I take my tinted prescription glasses off. She claimed she was checking for intoxication. This is very strange as I have brought beer there before and always wear my tinted prescription glasses.
I certainly was not intoxicated and have never been intoxicated in the past while shopping at Countdown Dunedin Central.
Given the awkwardness of this experience, I believe I have been single-outed and ostracized for my vision impairment and sensitivity. The checkout manager called Abie and her shift manager, Stacie, have been insensitive and have acted without respect or dignity toward me.
I really appreciate one of your staff…
I really appreciate one of your staff for all her help .She assigned at woolworths Ferrymead .She is so kind and polite specially when I'm looking some of my groceries ,she assisted me and explained so nicely. If Im not mistaken her name is Joy ,she is young lady who I saw sometimes at night around 6 or 7pm.A couple of months ago I saw her at the checkout. So helpful and kind lady ❤️
A great example for costumer service.
Worst experience ever at Woolworths…
Worst experience ever at Woolworths Ferrymead. 😔😟☹️ We went to Ferrymead Woolworths today, as we always do our grocery shopping there. We were on our way to the beach and planned to buy some snacks. We filled our trolley with nearly $100 worth of items, which is typical for us as we can afford to shop for our baby and ourselves.
As parents know, sometimes babies can be difficult to handle in grocery stores. My husband and I are professionals, and we always teach good manners to our baby, who is just 23 months old. He picked up a lollipop and started crying because we don’t usually give him sweets like that. My husband was waiting for me at the checkout and was calling me, so I picked up my baby and took the lollipop with me. I didn't put it back on the shelf for hygiene reasons, as I fully understand those concerns. I planned to buy that lollipop as well.
A lady approached us and started speaking rudely to me in front of other customers. She said, "You can't do this. Put it into the bag." She kept repeating herself, and my baby started crying after hearing her. She made us feel very uncomfortable. I was in a hurry to get to the checkout and bag our items, including the lollipop. I was disappointed and told my husband what happened.
My husband asked me to point out who she was, as he wouldn’t tolerate anyone speaking to me that way. He went back with the trolley, and she claimed to be in security, saying we couldn’t question her. My husband only asked if she had spoken to us politely. Another man standing nearby said they were both from security, but it didn't feel right. Despite needing the groceries, we felt insulted in front of many people.
As regular customers, we expect a polite approach. She could have explained things to us nicely, but she chose not to. Now we never want to go back there. We also shop at the Palms Mall Woolworths, where the service is excellent. They always greet us and our baby warmly. I never take items directly for my baby, but they often offer fruit to him with a smile.
Please address this issue as this experience was very upsetting for us. 😒😔
Fck your supermarket, prices and staff
Fck your supermarket, fck your prices, and what's the point in self service if you can't I don't know self serve? Went there to buy bags of nuts, nowhere to put in number for the code you have to wait for one of your dumb as workers to put a code in for us, am I a child? They only way I'll ever be back is to shoplift while I buy something else you are all greedy and a holes 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻
Very yummy snacks.
Online grocery deliveries are a joke in…
Online grocery deliveries are a joke in the Christchurch Hill areas. Everytime something is missing or we get a random item. They are now cancelling deliveries at the last moment due to technical difficulties. We have also had our groceries delivered to our next door neighbour several times.
Online deliveries have just got worse…
Online deliveries have just got worse and worse. Today they delivered by order not once but twice, charged us twice and then customer service suggested I had myself gone and ordered the same groceries on the same day myself ($400 worth!) rather than a fault in their system. Every order lately has had an issue - every week you have to scan through to work out what you have been charged for that hasn’t arrived. Today was my final straw - finally cancelled my delivery subscription.
rude lady gets fired whenn...? Rototuna Village Woolworths Hamilton
this maybe 30-40 yr old lady that was a manager and a lil chubby (she was massive). Students 12-14 (around 4 of us) walked in and was heading to the chips section quiet and not occurring any disturbance. She slid/threw a basket at my friends which hit my feet, we were right next to the basket place but she couldn't even walk past us to carefully drop it instead of attacking us with a goddamn basket. She was aisles away so it was clearly intentional. As we walked past a few aisles we say her yelling at young students and demanding them to leave immediately as they did. Although I am friends with them, I never asked what happened but they never disturb teachers or students at my school and were genuinely nice. We went down an aisle and skipped the chip aisles because she was screaming. We followed each other scared down to the drinks aisle to collect some Powerade as most of us had P.E today. As we were there we turned around and at the end she was staring at us like she wanted to kill us, it felt like a horror movie. We felt uncomfortable by her harassing everyone and didn't want to be there anymore so we did not buy much things and quickly bought it and left. She followed every student around the store which can affect your production. Check the security cameras and fire her. this happened between 9-9:10AM
Deleted the entire range of plant-based meat products
Woolworths Whanganui deleted not just one but the entire range of plant-based meat products that had been the main reason for us shopping there for years.
Woolworths says “that the Wanganui store is not ranged for this product”, but until 2 months ago they were ‘ragned” for plant-based meat products – or at least they had an entire section devoted to plant based meant products for at least several years… now deleted without notice or reason given.
Countdown Victoria street Wanganui
Countdown Victoria street Wanganui, disappointed. When a 34 year old and 32 year old(Even with ID) get declined on purchasing a bottle of wine because we have a young teen with us.
Even after explaining it's our little sibling, no talk or consideration.
Just declined and walked away. Just sad countdown
My experience at Bureta park countdown…
My experience at Bureta park countdown was fantastic!! My checkout operator was wonderful (young American girl with blonde hair), super friendly and efficient! Great at her job!!
Usually expect very high quality…
Usually expect very high quality service and product from my local woolworths but slight hic cup this time around with my roast chicken was burnt BLACK. This in turn meant very dry. With the cost of this item being excessive anyway I actually do expect a bit better quality.
