Rotten mandrimes

They do not stock the shelves the maderines were moudly the potatoes are old and expensive and overall Woolworth Moorhouse Christchurch is the worst supermarket we have ever been to! We now go to New World stuff Wookworths rotten food and empty shelves! Nothing gets done when you complain badly managed store. Don't do online shopping there, you will get rotten veggies.

I now know why onions go slimy fast.30/6/2026 Hastings Woolworths, small girl redhead,stood at end of row,threw packed purple onions into shelf space...did that 3 times with 3 bags....the thud was horrid

Core substitutes like bread and pasta not substituted???? REALLY???!!

I had my order delivered on Saturday, I have on my order allow substitutes, and had written this too in the comments.
Yesterday I went to make pasta, no pasta. I'd ordered pasta. Today I've gone to make my families sandwiches, no sandwich bread, I have no bread to make my families sandwiches! I'd ordered 2 loaves. Can woolworths honestly say, in the entire store where this order was picked there was zero substitutes for pasta or sandwich bread. Any pasta, any bread????THIS IS JUST SHOCKING SERVICE!!!!!I I 100% do not believe that. Shameful. These are core food items. There were multiple other items from this order also not substituted or supplied (salad, vegetables).
I now have to get in my car and drive to another supermarket to get at least bread. Just terrible, shameful....again Woolworths.

I had a delivery in te Awamutu…

I had a delivery in te Awamutu yesterday. The delivery missed one of my items but gave me two bags of someone else’s. I felt sad about that because it included 3 boxes of tissues and 4 packets of biscuits. Sounds like a big family.
I had a brilliant delivery service for many months and a couple of months ago Woolworths arranged a new delivery service. Not as reliable. One of the delivery days to my rural area was changed. Woolworths did not advise of this. It took about three weeks for me to find out why I could no longer make an order for my usual day. Forced a change of delivery day. The local online Woolworths staff are great but limited in their ability to assist. The help service from Auckland simply referred me back to the local service. Olive is a waste of time.
Larger centres (and not rural) may well enjoy a better delivery service.
I once used the Woolworths near the airport in Auckland. O my. What a lovely shop. The range of products amazing. Loved it. Bigger population. Possibly foreign customers with a larger palate and a deeper purse.

Items not delivered

Items not delivered, customers service not helpful at all, take your money instantly, but have to wait 3 to 5 days for a refund, always late, I have been using this service since 2020, if you live in the Omokoroa area don’t use this service

Ordered online for click and collect…

Ordered online for click and collect for my partner to pick up our groceries on the way back to levin from Woolworths awapuni Palmerston North only to find when he arrived home 8 items were missing, had to collect the missing items the next day which they did not even offer anything to in replace of fuel. This is poor service unfortunately won’t be shopping online with them again

Alcohol policy -New

I did an online order and did not receive the wine component. I tried using Olive - didn't work tried using 0800 number didn't work tried phoning Woolworths Belfast only to be told that if you don't answer the door then they don't deliver wine or beer since When? they said I would have to wait until the next day and I had to provide ID REALLY I'm in my sixties when I asked questions they couldn't answer they go I can' hear you 2 times and hang up I kept trying to phone and escalate the complaint and same thing I can't hear you 2 times and hang up. The problem is there is a 2 to 3 hour window and if you don't hear the door bell you are screwed also my previous deliveries were before the stated slot time go figure

Figs bought this evening we're mouldy…

Figs bought this evening we're mouldy when I opened the box. Olive no help, take it back to the store - 25 km away and I won't be in the area until Tuesday, 4 days from now. Am I supposed to keep mouldy food in my kitchen or fridge until then or make the 50 km / 1 hour round trip tomorrow?

Woolworths Levin

I came into Woolworths Levin in the afternoon, and it was such a mad house. Workers were no where to be seen, there was one girl-fair skin Maori with sparkly eyeshadow, long dark brown hair-who looked like a supervisor who was just ignoring the fact that we had ques of customers, she was just standing there talking which sounded like was just gossip to a tall blonde girl who I assume is her boss. Both neglected to acknowledge any of us the customers. One young Maori girl with black hair and glasses just walked in for her shift or from her break and straight away asked why neither of those two were assisting anyone, they replied rudely with a shrug of the shoulders and an I don’t care attitude. So this young girl told me to line up at an empty checkout and she would be there very shortly after she assisted someone on lotto. She restored faith in me towards Woolworths levin. This girl definitely deserves some recognition. I later found out while I was at the checkout that she is in fact a supervisor and her name is Dani. I told her that those other two needed to be taught some customer service like she did, she smiled and said if I remember I will be sure to pass it onto my boss, so I am leaving a comment just incase she didn’t. Woolworths Levin Management you need to train better, those other two shouldn’t be in that department if they have a crappy attitude! Dani you rock girl, and you deserve all the recognition as other customers behind me have said that you are always the one to help running around doing everything else. And girl you let that smile shine cos it’s contagious and actually turned my crappy day into a better one. I’ll be back for sure and hopefully I see you there so I can thank you again.

Empty shelves!

Every week there is something on my list they don’t have at the Colombo St branch. Nothing unusual just every day stuff. I can’t plan my menu for the week. Even stuff they have advertised as on special they don’t have, don’t advertise it if you can’t supply it. The shelves are constantly empty. I have started going to another supermarket that is more reliable.

Product Accessibility .

I find the placing of the women’s deodorant is very hard for me to get to. It is on the very bottom shelf and means that I need to get down on my knees to access it. Not ideal. Especially as we age. Small products should be on higher shelves.

Everyday Rewards Gifting Not Working for Almost Two Months

Everyday Rewards has a "gifting" option so that we can move points between our accounts to get the rewards vouchers. It stopped working about two moths ago and despite all my complaints to Woolworths it still hasn't been fixed. Evidently the Woolworths NZ tech support people are useless. (Or perhaps it's the Woolworths Australia tech support people that are responsible and they just don't care about New Zealand.)

Dangerous driving

Had my delivery delivered today, never had any problems before, the new driver was running late, speeded up my driveway, smashing into a tree at the start of my driveway, breaking off a branch and damaging the tree, he said nothing until i said I was going to make a complaint about his driving, the he apologised, made contact with customer service, nothing has been done, give my email address, so I could send photos, as a manager working in retail, I would be talking to the driver, and taking him off deliveries, until he could show due deliegence when driving and delivering

Incredibly rude staff at self service…

Incredibly rude staff at self service checkout . When I asked an elderly staff how can I pay for the car park she told me it wasn’t their problem snd when I asked again as I have impaired hearing she told me impatiently tjat I wasn’t listening .. it was in a Woolworth at Palmerston North at Plaza. My strongest advice - never set your foot there .

I am 85 years old and rely on online…

I am 85 years old and rely on online shopping. Every time I order from Woolworths There are at least 4 -5 items not provided. This week I will have to go without meat because they could not supply Rump Steak or pork sausages. I am fed up and especially when I am paying $26 dollars a month for delivery and then have to try again at another store and pay their delivery costs. Shocking Service am going to change online provider.

Woolworths Katikati do not deliver when they say they will.

Woolworths Katikati said they would deliver my families groceries to a rural Waihi address. They took my grocery money but the courier refused to deliver to our property. This has happened multiple times. He lies and says that the road to our house is closed, when it is not. They hold onto my money for a few more days, try again and the deliver driver does the same thing. This is terrible service. Eventually (one week later) I get my grocery money back, but it is over a week my family go without groceries as they hold my money for so long. Not acceptable.
