Cottman of Kansas City Recensioni

I called Cottman Transmission and Total Car Care at 8401 Wornall Road in Kansas City, Missouri and told Kevin my car was missing out and jerking and that is was jerking like it did before I took the SUV to have transmission rebuilt at Coffman Transmission at 23rd and Noland Road in Independence about 10000 miles earlier and might be the transmission band again. I told him they went out of business so I could no take the SUV back to them and he said it would not matter as each Cottman location was independently owned and work done at one was not covered by another one. Kevin stated that my problem could be anything related to engine or transmission and for $85 I could bring my car in and they would put it on a scope of some kind and tell me exactly what was wrong with my 2008 Ford Escape. Kevin stated that the $85 would be applied to any work that they completed after this scan. I took the car to him and dropped off the SUV. Kevin called the next day and stated the Escape had an electrical problem and that Cottman could not tell exactly what the problem was and that I would have to take the car to an electrician to find out the problem. Since nothing was fixed, I asked him if he could apply the $85 towards an oil and filter change and he stated Cottman did not do anything for free and the oil change was not related to why I brought the SUV in. I don't think the oil change would have been free work because he stated I could use the $85 towards any work done. Kevin called me back the same day and offered a very small discount on an oil change but I was not interested in doing anything else with Cottman. I paid Cottman a total of $88.74 including tax and Shop Fees (I assume that Shop Fees was for the pleasure of using his car bay). I feel Cottman Transmission failed me at both the Wornall location and the Independence location. Enough is enough. Please do not take your car to Cottman Transmission for repair work. I notice that Certified Transmission now offers a 5 year or 50,000 mile warranty on their work. I would try them instead of Cottman.

Service is first come, first served, so you have to get there early.

I heard very disturbing transmission sounds. They discovered no leaks. The fluid level was extremely low. They changed the fluid. They told me they suspected it had not been properly addressed previously.

When I had my car towed to Cottmans KC, I had several repairs that needed to be compleated. Within a few days, I received notification that my car was ready for pickup.

We were having problems with our vehicle and our
mechanic wasn't sure what the problem was so we took it to Cottman. It took a short time and we were contacted by Kevin with the problem. He provided us with three options to repair the car. We were impressed with Kevin, his knowledge, honesty and the shop. We will return for other maintenance.

I appreciate how quickly the problem was diagnosed and then how quickly it was fixed.explained everything to me with patience. I definitely felt safe when I got to back in my truck!!!!!

Why go anywhere else when Cottman Transmission on Wornall if the best place to go.

The staff was very freindly and very knolageable. Unfortunally in this crazy world money is tight and went with the lowest estimate.

The work was koo...!!!

Kevin at Cottman was very professional and helpful.

Saved my car when the other guys said it couldn't be done. Hooked me up with a new tranny at close to cost. I will never take my ride anywhere else. It's worth the trip to take your car here.

I've been going to Cottman on Wornall for awhile now and they do very good work. Kevin is a real stand up, he really back up the work do. I would recommend him and his crew to anyone.

Thanks Kevin

Always fantastic and wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.
