Terrible experience, unhelpful customer service with a company they advertise and have used for years, known issues, unresponsive to SAR which they are obliged to provide. Do not use these scammers.

I am posting this review so that other customers can make an informed decision based on my own documented experience.

I booked a Heathrow Meet & Greet parking service for my Volkswagen through Compare Parking Prices, with the parking operator identified on my booking as Ashton Carter Trading Ltd / Heathrow Airport Parking Service.

At approximately 06:00 on 22 August 2026 I drove the vehicle into Heathrow Terminal 2 Short Stay in accordance with the instructions provided and handed the original key to the parking representative.

I was subsequently told by the parking service that my vehicle had been moved away from Heathrow and was in their off-site storage.

The following evening, because I had concerns about the vehicle’s location, I contacted Heathrow Parking directly. Heathrow checked the registration and advised me that the vehicle had not left Terminal 2 Short Stay since I had driven it in and was continuing to accrue Heathrow’s normal Short Stay parking tariff. A tracker inside the vehicle was also showing it at Heathrow.

I then arranged for the vehicle to be returned early.

What followed was extremely concerning. I received conflicting information about where my vehicle was located. I was told it was in “our storage”, but when I asked for the storage address I was provided with the Heathrow T2 postcode.

I was also initially asked to pay an additional £580 early-release charge. That charge was subsequently waived in writing and I was told that my vehicle and key would be returned to my authorised representative at Heathrow Terminal 2.

That handover did not happen.

Heathrow subsequently confirmed to me that its records showed my vehicle leaving Terminal 2 Short Stay at approximately 13:40 on 24 August. Shortly afterwards the parking service instead directed us towards the Hayes/Mondial Way area.

My partner ultimately had to locate the vehicle herself using our tracker and recover it using our spare key from a commercial parking location near Heathrow.

No representative of the parking service attended to return the vehicle.

The original key was also not handed back to us. After we had recovered the vehicle and demanded return of the key, the parking service told me by WhatsApp that it had been left around the wheel/suspension area. My partner subsequently found the original key inside a bag beside the vehicle.

Fortunately, following inspection, the vehicle does not appear to have been damaged and its known contents appear to be present.

I have retained the booking documentation, photographs and video taken immediately before handover, vehicle-location records, WhatsApp conversations, telephone records and written communications with Heathrow supporting this sequence of events.

My concern is therefore not simply that I received poor customer service. The fundamental Meet & Greet service I believed I had purchased was not what occurred in practice. In particular, I was told the vehicle had been moved to off-site storage when Heathrow subsequently confirmed that it had remained in T2 Short Stay, and ultimately we had to locate and recover the vehicle ourselves.

Based solely on my experience, I could not recommend entrusting a vehicle to this service.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering any airport Meet & Greet service to establish exactly where their vehicle will be stored, who the legal operator is, what insurance and storage arrangements apply, and to retain their own photographs, mileage record and vehicle-location information before handing over their keys.

If I could give zero I would. Great value when booking but the driver never showed to collect the car which meant we had to pay 3x the amount on the spot with another provider so we didn’t miss our flight. No calls answered. Other operators at the airport say this is a common occurrence. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PROVIDER

1 month on and still no refund and no replies to my last few emails.

BA cancelled our flight the day before. What a pain. But at least our meet and greet had free cancellation. I rang and rang, no reply, so emailed and got back a reply a day later saying 'oh actually it's only free cancellation if you tell us at least 48 hours in advance'. So no free cancellation. Don't use these guys, they're not to be trusted. Just another dodgy internet outfit masquerading as a comparison site - most likely all the same people.

Their communication was poor and they refused a full refund, quoting hidden (and illegal) terms and conditions. Refused to engage with discussion after the event and I had raised a complaint. Avoid at all costs.

This company seems to have an agreement with a number of different companies. My contract was with them but the company they used was Sapphire Parking. Check the reviews to get a feel for what they are all about. What I signed up for was described as “premium parking”. What I got could not have been further from premium. A random individual with no ID collected the car after informing they needed £8 for the parking. Were we not against time he would not have been allowed to take the car. On our return a forty five minute wait for the car and another £8 charge. For me Meet & Greet didn’t even come into the equation. Let me just say this NEVER AGAIN.

Booked a car pick up and drop off at Gatwick. Received an email confirming normal instructions i.e. call the driver 20 minutes before arriving, which we did, 23 TIMES and he did not pick up. By now we are at Gatwick, have already paid £10 to enter the pick up zone and £89 for the service and now have no choice but to park in Gatwick Car Park or miss our holiday (this cost us an additional £275). When we got home, we contacted compareparkingprices.co.uk and received a nice reply asking for evidence. Sent them the screenshots of all the calls and we have not heard anything since. No sorry, no reply, no refund. They have basically taken our money and offered us nothing!

The parking was ok a bit out of the way. Track to parking was a bit rough and was located in a farm with a locked gate due to roaming dogs. Only downside was e tra costs on waybout due to additional fees from airport which would have been appreciated if we knew in advance. Pick up - we were an hour earlier than we had thought luckily the driver had dropped someone off and we got in the van. After a lot of questions I might add so all in all was ok

Excellent service , booking was easy would use again.

Service and communication were great. Was a little hard to find as we didn’t arrive off the motorway. Car was well looked after and we didn’t have to wait long for pick up on arrival back. Would use again.

Used this company driver was excellent so friendly on arrival and return he was helpful with everything. Parking space was ideal and safe.

Easy to find with simple instructions.
Straight forward hand over dropping off car. Took a little while to get car returned but the airport was very busy. Would use again.

Good parking lovey chaps and a beautiful new merc bus and the driver was mint..
Just wish we had some tarmac on the ground in the carpark...
But overall very happy.

Booked for Terminal5 Heathrow. Easy to book and efficient drop off and pick up procedures. Competitive price too.

Great service, easy to follow instructions. My car was ready when I arrived back. Polite staff too. Would recommend.

We originally booked parking for 3 trips with this company. Many of the parking options state that your vehicle might be taken to a separate secure location up to 5 miles from the drop off while you are away, so we understood that when booking. However, we had an AirTag in our car and saw that it was parked on a residential street for the entire time we were away. Not a secure facility. Because of this, we decided to cancel the other two bookings.

For all bookings, we had purchased the cancellation coverage. The policy wording in our booking clearly stated that if you have cancellation coverage, then there is NOT an admin fee if you cancel. So we should have received full refunds. For both bookings, they eventually gave a refund except for a £15 pound admin fee. They claimed that if we did not have cancellation coverage, then we wouldn't get a refund at all, and that with cancellation coverage, there is still an admin fee. That is NOT what our policy stated.

I sent screenshots of the policy and have emailed them numerous times, but they just keep misquoting their own policy. I warn anyone to stay away from this company. Not only was our car parked in a NOT secure location, but they will refuse the refund you are owed if you cancel.

They collected my car with a 5 min wait and returned my car also with 5 min wait.
Very pleasant staff and helpful.

Great price as well and would certainly recommend them.
I will definitely be using them again.
