Poor customer service.

I have had no quality problems but I have several pairs of Cole Haan and other brands and rotate them.
They had a 10% off sale. When the numbers work out, they gave me an $11 sale discount, which reduced the order to 98.95...so I did not qualify for free shipping because of 5 cents. They refused to make an adjustment...and quite arrogantly, I might add.
These companies think we are desperate to do business with them. But, their rating here shows the true story.

Purchased a 2 pr of shoes from cole haan directly. These are church shoes/sneakers only. The pair of topspin British tan in color have maybe 18 hrs/ 6 trips to church. They are separating at the sole leather interface. Lot of $$ for sub standard workmanship/materials/glue whatever. I have a pr of original grand wingtipshoes (church only) worn 1x(3hrs) not sure about them. I cannot reccomended their products. Way to much money for inferior products. Beware

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. I placed an order but never received a confirmation email. I contacted customer service and they said they couldn’t resend the email. I also asked them to link this new order to my online account and was told that they couldn’t. Then I asked if they could delete my online account and was told that they couldn’t do that either. Why have customer support that can’t do anything? I don’t even know the status of my order since I don’t have an order number or tracking information, but they surely didn’t waste any time pulling the money from my account. Worst customer service I’ve ever received, next to Walmart. Do better Cole Haan!

Poor logistics and inability to help customers

So I ordered a Christmas present on Black Friday. Cole Hahn canceled the order 4 days later and didn’t tell me. There was no reason for the cancelation. I did not receive a refund until 11 days later and escalations. Then, foolish me, ordered the jacket on the 12/12 and it never arrived. I just got an email saying shipping label created, but the carrier never received it. Customer Service can’t cancel late orders, nor can they call the warehouse. They have to ask Corporate.

It’s obvious Cole Hahn doesn’t care about logistics or providing quality customer service. You’re take a huge gamble shopping here.

Terrible customer service

This review is on Cole Haan's customer service. My kids ordered a pair of casual shoes their dad wanted for Christmas. The shoes came and the shipping box was wrapped up and presented at our family Christmas party. When he opened them, it was a completely different shoe, 7 sizes too big. That was very sad and embarrassing for our kids. It was 10 days before Christmas, so we hoped to rush him the correct pair. The least Cole Haan could do is give us a discount for our trouble, or put a rush on the correct shoes. They did neither. They did nothing to make right or apologize for the embarrassing mistake. We returned the shoes and re-ordered the right ones, but they won't get here for Christmas. Hopefully they send the right ones this time. Shame on Cole Haan, they really messed this one up. Customer service is EVERYTHING when running a company. We are disappointed/unhappy customers.

Actually I wouldn’t even give them a 1 it would more like a “0”. I ordered a pair of shoes and as soon as I placed the order I realized that it was going to be sent to my old address. I contacted the company and was told they couldn’t change the address or cancel the order once it had been ordered even though it had not shipped. They directed me to UPS to reroute the package and when I tried to do that due to the way they choose to ship items you are not allowed to make changes to address. All the to say: I EILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN or any company they are associated with. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AND THEY MAKE NO ATTEMPTS TO MAKE THEOR WRONGS RIGHT. Stay away from Cole Hahn

Awful company unfortunately

Awful company unfortunately. I have been buying these shoes for years. I convinced my boyfriend to buy a pair. After the first time wearing them, he got really bad blisters on 1 foot. After taking a closer look the shoe was obviously defective. We reached out to the company, sent pictures, explained the problem and asked for a refund or exchange. We were told that after the quality control team looked at the photos. They determined that it was not a defect in the shoe, but due to wear. WHAT??? Absolute lies and they only offered a 30% discount on another pair. I will never buy another pair of shoes from Cole Haan. And I’ll also mention that customer service was pretty snotty and accused us of lying. %uck this company.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!!

I ordered a pair of sneakers from their website for a birthday gift.

They pictured them on the site with a delivery time of 5-7 days, now here I am several days PAST the delivery date, and STILL have not received my order.

To add an insult to this fiasco, they actually had the nerve to send me an email offering a 20% discount......on a FUTURE purchase!

When I called customer service, I got a lame excuse from them stating that "their system has not updated, so therefore, I would just have to wait for an update on my order".

It's no wonder that they have a "1 Star" rating here.

If I could give them a ZERO, I would do so!

Grandpro Topspins wore out too fast!

I’ve been a loyal customer, but my second pair of Cole Haan shoes has really let me down. After wearing the Grandpro Topspins fewer than 25 times in an office setting, the front is already creased and worn out. I expected much better from a brand known for quality, but it seems they aren’t backing their products. Sadly, I won’t be buying from Cole Haan again.

I purchased the Grandpro Crossover…

I purchased the Grandpro Crossover sneaker and a defected occurred after 3 months. I called customer service and since it was purchased at a retailer they took no responsibility to fix the problem. They said.. go to the retailer.
VERY POOR RESPONSE FROM THEIR CSD.
Thats ok, social media is great payback.

Terrible brand experience

I’ve bought 4 pairs of trainers. stitching came away for one pair , retailer couldn’t replace as out of stock. Contacted Colehan service was dire said they couldn’t replace them even when they have the trainers in stock as their “systems “ would allow it. Absolute nonsense it’s their brand & if they valued my business they would have replaced them as photos clearly show they are faulty. Don’t purchase from Colehan

Shoes are great, but don’t buy a purse …

We have bought a lot of shoes from Cohen and they have been great, but I bought a purse and hardly got to use it and the straps are falling apart. When I contacted them about it, they told me it had been too long. I bought it at the end of summer last year so I only got to use it for a couple weeks. I brought it out to use it this summer and used it for a couple weeks and the straps are falling apart like crazy. I will never buy another Cole Haan purse. And as much as we like the shoes, I might not buy any more of them either because it’s really annoying that they won’t do anything to fix the situation.

The company is a fraud

The company is a fraud. Cole Haan ripped me off. UPS says it was delivered to an address and signed by "NAPIER". The package was not delivered at the address and no one named "NAPIER" works at the location. However, Cole Haan REFUSED to file a claim with UPS. UPS says the only Cole Haan can file a claim. I will never buy from CH again.

Bad Quality Practically brand new ColeHaan shoes blown out

I had a practically brand new pair of Colehann Nike Air wedge shoes that I bought 2 years ago. Had properly stored in a climate controlled room. When I went to wear them this year I wore them to the car, out of the car into two side by side stores. After the second store ( about an hour total) I noticed after getting back into my car that both of my shoe heels were completely blown out. Mind you they were practically brand new. I contacted ColeHaan customer service and they more or less said there was nothing they would do to remedy my loss. I would not recommend a shoe brand or any product for that matter that the company does not stand behind its product. After this experience I personally will never purchase anything ColeHann again. I suggest that you really consider throwing your good hard money after this crappy no good junk!

WORST customer service. No order changes

I had a horrible shopping experience with Cole Haan and will never shop their online store again. They were unable to help me change or cancel my order after making a mistake on my shipping address even after calling immediately after placing the order. They told me nothing can be done except change through UPS. UPS couldn’t help because of the restrictions Cole Haan has set for deliveries and told me they are the only ones who can make changes and could easily do so by calling UPS. I reached back out and Cole Haan refused. The representative was rudely repeating themself and would not give me any solutions. They would not give me a refund unless the order was returned so I am gambling my money on the honesty of the person the package was accidentally shipped to. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service with such lack of solutions or willingness to help. Worst experience ever.

Worse costumer service everrr!

Worse costumer service ever!
They do not allow any changes to the order once is made, they only want your money be aware of that.

Not only that but they tell you call ups, ups told me to call them, ups force me to join their site and still they weren't able to change my order, after that ups wanted me to purchase their premium membership in order to be able to change it, which I didn't do it!
I lost my money but I will never buy any of Cole Haan products and since I work as a shoes sales representative I will not recommend this shoes to any of my costumers.

Be aware that this company only wants your money they are a rip off! !

Late delivery, extra duty fees, poor service

Late delivery despite paying for express shipping, duty fee issues (website stated any duties applied at checkout) and poor customer service.

Express shipping stated 3-6 business days. I needed it within 8 business days so I went ahead with my order. Once placed it took 5 business days to get my first email saying it had been prepared for shipping.

Chat service didn’t provide any useful insights and kept abruptly saying ‘anything else I can help you with?’ AI or checked out staff?

Phoned and the man I spoke to was rude and told me I was wrong about any delay because Cole Haan had been closed for 4 days due to 4th of July weekend. Something not mentioned when placing the order. I called back and got a more polite staff member but the line abruptly dropped 5 mins into our conversation and noone from Cole Haan reached out to me.

Fast forward from July 3 to July 14 and I have received a note from DHL about a $45 duty fee. Contacted Cole Haan again and then said they will email me in 2 days with more info. In the meantime, no advice on what I should do given duties (if applicable) were meant to be included at checkout.

I’m shocked by just how problematic this experience has been. Never again.
