Imagine spending 15 minutes standing in a queue, to have some poncey barrista ignore you,when you enquire about an order to make..3 people running a store full of people. Obviously your company puts price before consumer opinion.. charging over the odds for a shoddy little tiny drink which you pay £3.90 for, you instead don't employ enough people to make drinks. You have the bare minimum to console your profits. Never using your shite over priced premium coffee service again. I will use Costa Next time..

Me and my wife went to the new Northwich one as we saw there was an offer on the app for a free coffee. We wanted to try it first to see what it was like before coming here a second time and paying the full price which keep in mind is £3.95 for a latte (higher than prices in big cities). We both downloaded the apps onto our phones and it took 15 minutes to install and verify both of us only to be told that our numbers were already in use when we went to claim the final offer. We tried multiple different things on the app and nothing worked. We were stood there for 20 minutes in total looking like idiots. When we went to ask the staff for some suggestions they looked at us like idiots. I would really suggest saving your time and patience and going somewhere else. It almost ruined our morning.

Takes an absolute age to get what you want in the Taunton store, we always say never again but end up going back in and again saying never again. Rule of thumb if there's more than 3 other customers in front of you it's going to take around 30 mins before you get served. Finally reached our final never again the other day when a junkie pushed to the front of the queue and asked for a spoon, yes a junkie asked for a spoon, the member of staff handed over a wooden spoon to which I thought good work, the junkie then said he needed a metal spoon and the member of staff just handed it over, couldn't believe what I'd witnessed, I'd already been waiting 20 mins with only 2 customers in front of me, I just turned and walked off, vowing never to return again and this time I won't. Hope that junkie didn't bring the spoon back!

Absolutely appalling service. Partner queues for 20 minutes (at least and not exaggerated) to get to the front of the queue to be told “sorry, we’re taking a break and not serving now”. Having served the person in front of my partner and with no indication whatsoever that anyone behind that person wouldn’t be served is just unacceptable! There were also many people behind my partner queuing too! It seemed staff were not at all concerned that people should wait in line for an age before being turned away! This isn’t the first time, at lunchtime the coffee shop just stops! Run by teenagers who clearly have no customer service skills, I’m amazed this place is still running at all. The server said there was a notice at the door. When we arrived, the double doors were both open and no notice. This would have been done after joining the lengthy queue (it’s always a really slow service). It won’t be a place I will go to again. For reference, this is Leamington Spa - avoid!

My recent visit to Coffee#1 in Street was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Despite arriving during an exceptionally busy period, the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, offering a thoughtful apology for the slight delay – a rare and much-appreciated gesture. The atmosphere was wonderfully comfortable, making it an ideal spot to unwind, and I was particularly impressed by how welcoming the café was to dogs. My canine companion and I were made to feel right at home, which added a personal touch to an already pleasant visit. Coffee#1 in Street combines great service, a cozy environment, and dog-friendly charm to create a standout experience.

I have visited this coffee shop several times. The coffee and cakes are great. Unfortunately sometimes the service is not . The staff are very slow to respond to a customer if it is not busy. I have walked out twice because of the waiting time for someone to decide they would serve.

Inedible bacon roll which I highlighted to the assistant manager. I was told there is nothing she can do as they buy them in like that. Basically not in the slightest bit interested.
Will definitely not be returning!

3 months and no help from support on my free vouchers. I’ve earnt 3 free coffees and can’t use them. No one will help you so pointless

Southbourne & Parkstone, in the Southwest are the best coffee shops in the area. Staff are so friendly and welcoming.

I have been using Coffee One in Westbury since it first opened, I visit various Coffee One shops about three time a week. The two cappuccinos I bought today were the poorest ever, I might just as well have ordered a cup of hot milk. Very weak coffee and not much chocolate sprinkles. Considering how the price keeps increasing this is not what I expect.

Referring to their shop in Street, Somerset.. I am not a person to have Coffee's from a shop on a regular basis (usually because I don't find them to be very nice), but I popped into the Street branch and was blown away by the whole experience, the friendliness of the young lady that served me and by the fantastic coffee as well (I said this to the lady before leaving), one of the best Cappuccino's I've ever had!.. I'll be back, 10/10.

A most horrible experience @ Coffee#1 St.Cathetine's Walk, Carmarthen. Lovely venue & food but unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience here on afternoon of Friday 15th November. This was entirely down to the aggressive & totally unprofessional attitude of 2 members of staff. They refused to serve semi-skimmed milk (by mixing whole & skimmed milk). I questioned why, as I'm regularly served this in other Coffee#1 shops. Was told was "Company Policy"..which I accepted. My order was then put on a tray in a very dismissive manner. The cheesecake consisted of 2 broken pieces which I asked be changed. Not once did the 2 servers smile or say thank you. Their attitude was nothing short of disgusting & was witnessed another customer. This was not the first time that I have experienced rudeness by the staff at this venue yet, I have NEVER experienced this in other Coffee#1 shops. Gill Mahoney

Absolutely rubbish Americano. I don't know what they are doing wrong but it tasted like a sachet of poor instant coffee in a lot of hot water. Not what I expect for over £3. They should send someone along to a Cafe Nero to see how it is done, shame there isn't one in Newton Abbot.

Waiting to be served 1 guy was doing all the drinks on his own waiting to be served I was 5 people in front of me girl was cleaning tables I said is anyone else serving she said no I am cleaning these tables at the minute how rude of her people was waiting to be served guy was doing drunks all on his own she was so rude girl in glasses

I felt I HAD to write a review with 5 stars, despite waiting endlessly in a queue at the newly opened coffee shop in Street Ba16.

The young man, Alex, was serving on his own. The shop was packed and at one point there were 17 units of customers in the queue, some of us tutting, etc. I would have been flumoxed, and sweating profusely. He kept his cool and calmly, in a very polite manner, served each customer with a smile, very efficiently.

Definitely management material in the making.

Failed to award 2 stamps at the coffee 1 shop in Bath despite scanning my card.
Wrote to them- failed to reply after weeks of waiting- response when it came was if I has stolen the Crown Jewels- rather than asked for 2 stamps which I was entitled to. Many emails- no coordination between app team and customer services. Confused!
Gave up- wont be returning.

This is my favourite coffee chain, as it has the most vegan options for cakes and pastries. The stores are all a little quirky in character and I've always found the staff friendly, although making the coffees always seems on the slow side.

I wish they had more branches though - the nearest to London is Epsom, and some areas seem to have none at all.

They seem to use the same app as Caffe Nero, but whereas with Nero the app can be flaky, it works smoothly at Coffee #1.

Despite having an issue on the first time this coffee shop opened, I thought I might give it a second chance. My mistake!
Although the member of staff was very friendly. Again, she didn't actually listen to what I had asked for. I ordered a latte and a cinnamon roll, the staff member asked me how I would like my coffee and completely forgot about the roll I'd requested. As this is the 2nd time that this has happened, I won't be frequenting this establishment again. Not particularly how a business should be.
