Previously I had ordered 3 x 5" art lamps and was impressed. New order for a 14" art lamp in antique brass was disappointing. The powder coated finish was a poor replica of of antique brass so I immediately requested a return label.
Problem 1, return label not generated as I checked out as a guest. This was put right after a phone call and follow up email.
Problem 2, they received the return 2 weeks ago, no acknowledgment and to date no refund.

The cocoweb barn lights have a limited life for outdoor use as the powder coat decays quickly.

Bought product in 2021 so I had it for rough in. Just getting around to installing and it doesn't work right out of box.

They will not stand behind their product. It's $90 for the driver and led array to fix the problem as I don't have a volt meter. Just said out of warrantee buy the parts on our site.

Doesn't work out of the box and they just want more money. This company is trash and knows they make a crap product.

Edit: If they truly cared about their customers they would have at least sent the parts to try and fix it. Instead they just call me a liar. Either way they don't expect their product to last 4 years.

We have enjoyed our piano lamp from Cocoweb for several years; recently it started flickering. We called Customer Service and spoke to Gabriel, who walked us through the steps to determine the cause of the problem. Because of his professional expertise, the lamp is now working perfectly and we didn't have to buy a new lamp!

I was very disappointed with the light I got from them. I returned it and it took over a month to get a refund.

My horrible experience with Cocoweb. Buyer beware!

I’ll try to keep a long, very bad experience with Cocoweb relatively short here, but I believe it’s important to pass so potential buyers can make an informed decision before purchasing a Cocoweb light fixture. On March 27th of 2023 I purchased 27 LED barn light fixtures. 26 of them were the 22 inch, and 1 was an 18”. They were to go one a new barn I was building, and it’s identical sister barn directly across from the new barn.

Due to delays in construction, we finally were able to install the barn lights on the new barn just a few months ago - in early March of 2024. 14 were installed. Within a month of installation we noticed four of the fixtures' large canopy shade had separated from the gooseneck arm and the canopies were flopping around. We had them taken down (had to rent a lift) and my electrician took the wobbly shade off and he was very surprised to see how poor the design was. There were 5 significant design flaws that led to the failing of the fixtures. As he was explains this, I got a video. One being the screws used were very tiny, and could not hold the weight of the canopy and rain was getting in, which led to corrosion of the LED bulb. Soon, within a month, 6 more fixtures fell apart the same way. And as of yesterday, 12 of the 14 have all fallen apart. I had the other 2 removed, knowing they were right behind.

The other 13 fixtures, brand new and still in boxes on a pallet, will not be installed. I am not going to install fixtures that I know are going to just fall apart.

At $461.00 per fixture, I have $12,000 invested in these fixtures! I wrote customer service at Cocoweb explaining my experience - and they said they would replace the broken fixtures, however they are the same design. Replacing fixtures with the same design makes no sense - they are only going to fall apart. And, Cocoweb said because the purchase was just over a year, a refund was out of the question. I even sent Cocoweb two videos showing why these fixtures fail, and Cocoweb did not acknowledge the obvious bad design. Even my painter said “these things are junk.”

So now I have a pile of 12 broken fixtures at $461.00 each on the ground in my storage shed, and 13 that I am not about to install. It appears my $12,000 is now gone, and I have on my hands 27 barn light fixtures I can’t use. Mr. Zavala and Mr. Torres say they stand by the design, which is ludicrous. I feel like I’ve been robbed of $12,000. My only recourse is to tell the public about Cocoweb so no-one else experiences this.

Be forewarned! Stay away from Cocoweb’s light fixtures - especially the barn lights. You will face trouble right away - and Cocoweb will only replace them with the same junk.

I would agree terrible. We built a horse farm & heard great reviews about there products. Several thousand dollars later. Most do not work. I call there customer service & they send out replacements. Then those do not work. Save your money. Buy a better product. Sad thing is that these fixtures were not cheap to begin with. Not to mention the costs to have an electrician put up the replacement photocells or fixtures just to not work again. GARBAGE!!!

I have bought several lights from cocoweb over the past 6 months for a building project. First of all, the lights are very high quality and easy to install. We have had two instances where we had to call them - one was an LED that burned out and one was where we broke a part on a light and needed it fixed. In both occasions - including the one that was our fault - the owner was amazing to deal with and provided replacements at no cost. He was pleasant and prompt. Honestly the best customer service I have had in years. Will buy lights from them whenever I can.

I bought some heavy duty light poles. They were not as heavy as I had hoped but I am very satisfied with them. They look great and they seem to be of very high quality. Accidently hit one and it broke off. The repair was very logical and they posts came apart and we were able to reassemble them. The guy that did the most work commented several times about the quality of the kits. I looked long and hard for light kits and these are sweet!!!!

I have purchased 6 picture lights in the past few years, service was good until now. They changed the shipping address from what was on the purchase confirmation and invoice. They want to charge me to contact the shipping company and have their error corrected. Once I pointed out to them that this was not my error, but in fact theirs they stopped communicating with me (email communications) and continue to ignore several emails that I have since sent. ..I still have not received my light.
Disgusting approach to dealing with an error that they made.. terrible customer service.

I purchased a picture light and in moving from one house to another I lost the transformer. Gabriel from Cocoweb called me right back and personally took a replacement transformer to the UPS for overnight delivery to my new home, as Cocoweb's deliveries had already left for the day. The transformer arrived early the next morning, and just in time for the electrician who was scheduled to come and fix some electrical issues in my new home. Thanks to Gabriel I did not have to pay for another electrician visit because the transformer was there waiting for my electrician to use in reinstalling the picture light. Fantastic customer service!! Very pleased!!

Buyer beware, Cocoweb products have this ENORMOUS branding on the visible mount. If you were planning on putting anywhere visible, all that visitors will see is this writing. Additionally, the products are made from a cheaper soft metal. Lastly, I would be cautious of dealing with this company. When I returned the items (due to abnoxious branding) they accused me of not returning items, and charged me a ~$200 restocking fee. Would highly discourage buying their products

Items came with missing parts and I cannot get any communication from them!!! Awful experience!!!

Beware! They're not answering the phone or replying to email. No employees listed on LinkedIn. Just saw this review that they are located in China...I did not know...now I'll have to ask my credit card company to dispute/reverse charges.

DO NOT BUY from them . They will not send you your Order.. They do not tell you they are in CHINA either.

The product is good, but the service is awful. They did not deliver the corresponding content in the package, they never apologized for it. They said they would send the missing part, I never heard again after 2 weeks. They did not fill in the right address for initial delivery and I had to track and chase the package myself, they never apologized for it. Too bad their level of service is affecting the whole experience. This does not make me want to buy again there and I do not recommend the process.

I purchased two Barn Lights from Cocoweb a few months ago to help light up my front porch. I must say I was pleasently surpirsed by the quality of the barn lights and they just look stunning. I would highly recommend.

I purchased a few barn lights from Cocoweb and was very impressed with the quality of the lights. My electrician said they were really easy to install and he was quite impressed with the item as well.

I purchased our LED desk lamp and piano floor lamp from Cocoweb and can not be more satisfied with my purchase. Their customer service is nothing short from phenomenal,

This company has helped me out greatly with my interior design needs. I required a picture light for one of my clients project and Cocoweb supplied the necessary support and work to get it done smoothly! Great customer support and communication!
