Always clean and lots of equipment available

I am really disappointed to hear that the Wigram group class space is having building work to replicate Burnside. The green fake grass is extremely scratchy and never clean for group classes. I attend Centurgy and Core, both of which involve your elbows and knees on the ground. Did you liase with your clients and instructors or just make a poor executive decision. The large screen also blinds the space behind the instructor and can overstimulate the senses during 'relaxing' centurgy. I urge you to consider multiple feedback as the way City Fitness is moving is away from what I joined for.

I absolutely love Centergy for a whole body flexibility and strengthening work out. Instructors are amazing - Janna is a superstar, Riley and Loz. Helpful staff and good facilities.

Kim & Kendall make Core & Groove at CityFitness Ormiston so much fun, as well as, the Zumba class with Jeannine. Love it!! Their energy is great, and they create such a positive vibe that I actually look forward to working out. The classes are a great mix of core strength and dance, and they make it enjoyable for all fitness levels. I always leave feeling great—highly recommend!

I've been with City Fitness Moorhouse since it first opened.
I love the Group Fitness classes, they have the best instructors!
There is a heap of equipment and considering the huge number of members the gym is always clean and tidy
Its great to see an improvement with staff speaking with inconsiderate members not taking care of equipment.
Huge benefit is that I can bring my partner for free

I joined with the Simplicity plan and thoroughly recommend it! The gym is always clean and tidy and there’s never a wait for equipment.
The only negative is the parking situation but this is out of the gyms control.

Excellent, friendly staff and an awesome environment. The equipment is top quality and there’s plenty of it, so no waiting around. I did Aaron’s HIIT class this morning — his calm approach during the warm-up really eased me in, then he switched gears with some serious coaching energy. The music kept me locked in the whole time. Exactly what I needed!

LOVE City Fitness Moorhouse! So much gear, almost 3 of everything so you never have to wait and also the inclusion of some fantastic “old school” gym equipment is a bonus!

Palmerston North has two great locations: the newer kelvin grove and the established pitt street boasting different opportunities. I was advised to start my fitness journey at the pitt street club for it's group classes to which I have not regretted. Meeting long standing members is a testament to the high quality of service that the management team provides. I have witnessed the club itself develop to a higher level while still retaining the essence of a traditional gym.

Had a great work out this morning in a reformer’s Pilates class with Denise. Really hard to get into her classes they book out so quickly in Hastings

Kelvin grove Palmy pilates class are great if you can get in. there is space for more reformers please get them. 6 is not enough. Can the mobile app also be sorted, it lets members book even when they are not premium, it errors when class opens & so many trying to book. The notifications when a space becomes available can take mins or hours to show. A more fair way would be to book in the 7th person who missed out, they got 2hrs to accept then it goes to the next person & so on. The app is glitchie & needs work. The pilates instructors we have are awesome, need more classes especially Sunday.

Great gym. Good classes on offer. Love the Abundance studio and all that offers. Excited for the upcoming reformer room, would be great to have reformer only classes again.
Dislike the cage door to get in, and being locked out of areas of the gym despite being a premium card holder outside of hours.

Over 10 years never been let down.
The staff are always happy and helpful.
Clean and maintained facilities, when a piece of equipment has broken its always repaired quickly.
Best place to blow off steam and keep in shape
Not only has this place helped me recover physically from injury and surgery but also has helped my mental health.

City fitness Petone is one of the best place to workout.
It’s a near clean, and lighting's (vibes) are really nice.
