Absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had. Never received the products I spent over $100 on and they would do nothing to resolve the issue. I had to issue a chargeback through my bank.

I added a review which was removed since I posted the transcript of my chat with CityChic customer service. Well, since I have been a long costumer of City Chic and had a LOT of patience with their shipping here I go again…

I placed an order on June 25th, our of 26 items which were for a vacation, I received one item three weeks after my order was placed. What happened to the other 25 items?! Costumer service at City Chic do not know, other than they shipped it on July 13!!!!! that’s over 19 days after the order was placed!!! Not only that, the tracking number stopped being scan on July 14th, today is July 24th!!!! After a chat with City Chic costumer service, a call to FEDEX who told me the sender needs to do an investigation not me, a call to City Chic who other than apologies and excuses practically told me the same thing the other costumer service told me, we will call you or email you about it since we don’t know what happened, they said they have a internal group at FEDEX! So I told them to call their internal fedex group and return my order back to them since now it’s a month after I placed the order and other than one top, I already went to my vacation and back and apparently they do not care much that I spent a pretty penny on my order and it has not been delivered, they said they CAN NOT cancel it and refund the money since they need to investigate first! I have been dealing with their costumer service for a while so I had to report it to my credit company to investigate, flag them and refund the money! I love their clothes, which let’s face it its cute but not luxury items, I there are so many other companies that I have place orders of similar items and prices and I have receive them in 7-10 days! SO NOT HAPPY AT ALL! Whoever is in charge of logistics is doing a terrible job, specially since it took so long to be mail.

I am a long time customer. My closet looks like a City Chic boutique. I love the style. I wear my dresses to work and get compliments all the time. Normally I would give 5 stars. But something has dropped off in quality of service. I would look forward to my nice big City Chic box with pretty tissue paper. But my last few orders have arrived in bags making returns difficult since I need to find a box. This last order was awful. Four expensive dresses were wadded into a plastic bag that was too small for the contents. The bag appears to have ripped and was taped back shut. One of the dresses was damaged in the area where the hole was. I immediately reached out to customer service with photos and I'm being told it's going to take several days for them to review the case! I am so disappointed because I love their products. But they ship their products with zero love. Looked like they were mailing me their garbage rather than high end dresses.

I ordered on two different occasions; the first time everything went smooth. I was content with their service. I even had to make a return and with a week I saw the credit back on my account. The Second time it took forever to receive a shipping confirmation and when I did receive confirmation within a week my package was lost. I reached out and they were going to give me a Store credit because they could not refund me the money as it was not their fault so they claimed. But then I ended up receiving my package so I reached out and was honest about the situation and that I did not need store credit just wanted my return back on my card. Then they needed to approve my refund which I did not understand as if because I was within my limit of the return policy. They took over a week to get an approval. When I finally did get approved I sent it off and here we are almost a month later and I still have not received any credit back on my card. Very dissatisfied!

I ordered a dress from them and have yet to receive a shipping confirmation from them. I’ve tried to reach out through chat, email, and called but no response whatsoever. I’m needing this dress ASAP due to an upcoming wedding I’m in. If I don’t hear back with a tracking number soon I’m going to file a dispute with my bank and file a complaint with the BBB

Really disappointed in this site overall. Takes forever for them to ship the items out. Customer service is a mix of good and bad. Honestly I wouldn’t order from this site again.

I’m surprised at these reviews. I’ve been ordering from City Chic for a couple of years now. I’ve always been really happy with the fit, style, quality, etc. My only complaint is that they have been extremely slow to ship since COVID started. I’ve never needed to return anything though, so I can’t speak on that. However, I have ordered from them at least 20 times in the past 2 years. Some department stores carry the brand. Maybe that’d be a faster shipping option if it’s a concern.

Do no buy from this company, terrible customer service, they don’t answer your inquires. I bought a dress on 4/28/21 and it has not been shipped yet and they don’t answer neither the customer service email nor their WhatsApp’s number. They need to be reported and should not be allowed to sell anything in USA

Okay so I bought a dress from this website and they charged me $118 for it. I wish I had read the reviews before buying it. I am worried that it is not going to be delivered on time. I have waited a week already and I need this dress this weekend because I bought it for my graduation. I try to contact customer service, email, and call, and that is no help, they never answer. this is just so frustrating! I do not have this type of money to waste and do not know what to do now. If anyone is reading this could you please give me information on how to cancel and get my money back.

I’m very disappointed in ordering from this company directly!!! Love their clothes which I order directly from Nordstrom without a problem. But my order from city chic directly on 3/18/21 and billed $240 on 4/1/21 still has not arrived. After 5 calls to the company....still no product which I needed for a May 1st wedding 😞. So disappointed!!! I wish I read all the bad reviews on line before I ordered. Don’t get me wrong , love there clothes , but direct or ding is horrible. Wondering if I will ever see the refund?

I bought two dresses and I have tried unsuccesfully to return one. No one responds to email and I can't access my account online. Very shady company.

Awful! Never could speak with a live person only chats. Customer service is nonexistent! This company said their warehouse is in Texas, but after ordering on 3/10/12 outside of an order confirmation no other communication was initiated by them I received a email with an Australian address! Below one star and will N E V E R order from them again! 😡

If I could leave a negative number of stars I would. If you plan to order from them and think you will have a smooth experience to return, think again! Multiple what’s app convos, email, and spoke to a live person once and no refund on items I didn’t receive. They actually shipped the items from a Dallas warehouse and then had them deliver back to Dallas and now will work on a refund. But nothing yet. My refund is over 350.00. Customer service sucks. There is no clear solution or process. It’s ridiculous! Save your money and shop elsewhere

I wish I could give this scam store a zero. I ordered one dress took an eternity to come. The next day I had ordered 2 more dreSses and paid express shipment was charged and items took 2 weeks to come. Everything I ordered I sent back. They do not give refunds even though they said they do. They do not have a working number. Some how I found their WhatsApp been communicating for over a month with them. Every time I reach out it’s a different story. One day I will have credit next day they didn’t get items yet but when you track with their pre paid shipping label it said items were received almost one month prior. Finally I had to call my bank cause this has been going on since feb 2021 and it’s now April . Never order from here unless you have time and have no intention of returning or exchanging.

If I could give this store a ZERO, I would. Worst customer service ever!! I ordered two dresses on February 5th for an event I had on March 4th, three weeks later I checked on the order and it was still in process so I emailed them asking them to cancel. They wrote back saying they couldn't cancel once it's being shipped and they would expedite and send it 2nd day Fed Ex. Event passed and then I get ONE dress, I wrote to them cancelling the second dress and all I get is a "your ticket is resolved" email. I will never order from this place again and NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!!

I ordered from them on Feb 24. I still have not received my order. It still says its in fullfillment. I have called once a week for the past 4 weeks and emailed 3x. They blamed it on the storm in TX. Ok but it's now been over a month and I was told it would be sent to a manager and overnighted 3 weeks ago. Contacting PAYPAL today.

Placed an order on 3/11. Still "in fulfillment" as of 3/24. Only way to communicate was on live chat. Finally cancelled since they said they couldn't provide an estimate for shipping, then found out that each item I had on order had gone up in price by $10 or more! So if I were to consider re-ordering my total would be $75 more!

I don't buy from them anymore because they don't allow reviews anymore. They don't have confidence in what they sell or they would have kept the reviews. They don't offer free shipping unless you spend over $100 and they don't offer free returns.

I ordered from City Chic on 9:00 pm. Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. I cancelled the next morning at 9:11 a.m. tried to at least. I called left a voicemail, emailed and downloaded WhatsApp to chat. I was informed they don’t have a cancel button. Which is ridiculous... I contacted The Better Business Bureau and within 12 hours I received my refund. This company is absolutely not located in the USA if you have to contact customer service through WhatsApp. Beware !!!!
