Your online experience is the second worst in Canada, only trumped by the Canadian government websites and the worst part is YOU expect users to pay $3 for the privilege! Everytime I want to book a ticket online , a cold sweat appears. Awful awful awful user experience. I have tried to reach out to anyone at CinePlex, and just like the awful Canadian websites, you cannot. It is a redundant circular design meant to make people feel someone is on the other side, but all that is on the other side is a $3 collection machine. What is needed , especially I speak for Vancouver is competition, because your Org sucks!

Worse online purchase experience!
Me and my friends tried to order gift card with a limited time promotion package online many times. It’s always come with a system error after submit.
I’ve been to Markham VIP location to get a gift card instead. But they said it’s currently out of stock for the promotion package. Only I can do is “back to online system and get it online!”What?!
I filled out feedback form online and complained for all my inconvenience to cineplex. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any improvement till now. So disappointed.
Waste my time!

Wir waren im Cineplex Parndorf Saal 2. Die beiden Personen bei der Getränke und Snackausgabe waren nicht sehr freundlich. Die Werbung vor den Hauptfilm war leider viiiiel zu laut und man könnte auch den Film etwas leiser abspielen. Action gut und schön aber mit einem Hörschaden muss der Kinobesuch nicht enden.

They charge 1.50 extra to book online, unless you get a scene card. Sign up for a scene card and "invalid number" is the cineplex response. It's impossible to access help for the site. They demand totally up to date browsers, and 2FA for a movie purchase... it's movies, not financial services. If movie theaters die in Canada, Cineplex website will be one of the main reasons.

Over a dozen emails to customer service in the last 6 months and not 1 reply. Terrible customer service!

I just spent an hour trying to access the online portal. The UX sucks big time. Awful. Whoever does this companies online portal should resign.

Ganz mies. Fahren extra nach Wien und dann darf mein 4 jähriger Sohn nicht hinein, obwohl 2 Erziehungsberechtigte dabei sind. Extra 6 Leute für nichts hergefahren und nicht mal einen Gutschein oder irgendwas bekommen. Aber beim Kartenkauf extra noch wegen dem Alter gefragt worden. Dieses Kino nie wieder einen Cent von mir. I enjoy going to a movie once in a while since I was a child. It's usually been one of these locations.
My only thing is I think more seating space would be comfortable.

If this was a review on food then it would be 1 star though.... Rip off, even knowing obviously they gouge price at the movies. $20 for a popcorn and pop is redic considering it costs them maybe 20 cents in reality.
But I always bring my own food since I was a child because I know this. Sad because if a bag of popcorn was only $5 I'd buy it still.
Soo I'll go in with my huge sushi combos, Harvey's, burritos, own popcorn etc 🤷🏻

This review is the their online video rental service. At first, I was really happy that their selection of rental movies is great. I'm happy to pay for a movie if it's available on a platform. We rented the new (2023) Gerard Butler movie Plane for their "HD" version, which was 720p! What the heck?!?! This is a brand new movie, and you didn't give me any option besides "SD" and "HD." No one actually believes that 720p counts as HD in a world of 4K TVs. Please don't be so dishonest.

Time to go back to acquiring movies that are actually the quality they advertise.

Gutscheine lassen sich in Österreich nicht online einlösen. Da Cineplexx SCS bietet keine Reservierung online an und nun hänge ich seit 15 Minuten in der Warteschlage, um Pläte zu reservieren.
Verschenkt keine Kinogutscheine von Cineplexx, außer ihr hasst die Person die ihr beschenkt!

Ich bin Cineplex Plus Mitglied und fühle mich in unserem Kino in Bensberg jedesmal sehr willkommen.

Went to the Park Theatre in Vancouver last night. we arrived 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, so as to miss the ads and trailers shown at about 150 decibels. Surprise, Cineplex now shows a 30 minute "Pre-show" which is a bunch of ads, and three to four different (but not always!) trailers of the same movies that are 'coming soon'. If they hope to keep me as a customer, they better disclose the showing of these Pre-shows, or I will wait to stream them.

The theater was very clean and the seats were quite comfortable. However the cost of food at the consession stand was disgustingly over priced. For a number 2 combo which was 2 medium popcorn, 2 medium fountain drinks and 2 rather small bag of candy itcost just over $40 with tax. This is disgusting. My husband and I will not likely be back. The only reason we went was because we got a gift card for Christmas. I understand prices go up but thus is not ok.

Ich wurde noch nie in meinem ganzen Leben so schlecht, unfreundlich und inkompetent behandelt.
Es ging um die Anmietung eines Kinosaals für eine Geschäftsvorstellung.
Als erstes habe ich 1 Monat keine Rückmeldung bekommen nachdem ich 2 Anträge verschickt habe.
Als sich dann endlich die zuständige Dame dafür gemeldet hat, wurde ich teilweise angeschrien!
Man hat mich nicht aussprechen lassen, mir wurden Sachen unterstellt, etc.
Ich bin zutiefst enttäuscht und schockiert.
Professionalität und Kompetenz sind anscheinend für die Cineplexx Mitarbeiter Fremdwörter.
Würde ich niemandem weiterempfehlen.
Ich hoffe dass irgendwer der für die Leitung des Teams zuständig ist das hier sieht und sich gewisse Sachen ändern.

Ich habe einen Film mit DBox online gebucht. Die erste Buchung ging nicht durch erst die 2. Im Anschluss bemerkte ich dass mir 82€ abgezogen worden sind.
Habe eine Email erhalten dass cineplex die Buchung storniert allerdings habe ich bis heute keine Rückzahlung erhalten.
Sehr traurig u enttäuschend.

I have 2 Admit One tickets which do not expire. I wanted to see Avatar 3D. Was told it will cost me another $22 to see the film ! HUGE RIPOFF. Gouging should be against the law ! Will never buy or see another Cineplex movie again. I am disgusted with Cineplex.

After 35 days 8 Tickets i found a Cineplex CSR that was able to help me. Nitini Mishra.

I have a promotion. The promotion code doesn't work. I try to contact customer service. Customer service is a blank 3rd party website with 0 information on it. The store is clunky and slow. When it does work properly we freeze and have to restart/re-log in, re-load and find the place in the movie where we are.

I was trying it again today and it wasn't working and there is nobody to contact and ask for help.

The recent offer of $60 in coupons if you buy and use $50 gift card before December 31, 2022 was a slimy, money grab. Our local Cineplex serves 170,000 people and was provided 500 coupon books- first come, first serve. So those who bought the $50 gift card online were not able to get the coupon book. Don’t trust Cineplex scam offers like this. Go to Landmark cinemas.
