I ordered chocolate for a fountain for my child’s birthday party because I wanted to support a local business instead of buying from a random seller on Amazon.

The website stated that standard shipping is 2-3 business days. I placed my order on 17 July, but after 10 days I still hadn’t received anything. I emailed customer support asking for an update, but I never received a reply. There was also no tracking number, so I had no idea where my order was or whether it had even been shipped.

The chocolate finally arrived on 5 August, long after my child’s birthday party had already taken place. By then, the order was completely useless for its intended purpose.

I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and communication. If you can’t meet your advertised dispatch times, at least keep your customers informed and respond to their emails.

I genuinely wanted to support a small local business, but after this experience I’d rather order from Amazon, where at least I know my order will arrive on time and I can track it. This company shows a complete lack of customer care.

Aines Chocolate is hands down the best chocolate that Ireland has produced in a long time.
I was pleasantly surprised by its balance of creaminess and smoothness with the sweet mint and bitterness of the dark chocolate.
I had the pleasure of eating the "Dark Mint Crisp". It broke off like a soft brick, and melted in the mouth like velvet, unlike the oily chocolate of nowadays.
This was heavy, rich and dreamy, and the mint was complimentary to the chocolate. Neither flavour were competing with one another.
Simply wonderful chocolate.
The shop I bought it in priced it a little over €4/100g. If you can afford to splash out for it, do. It will not disappoint.
