Description: On July 1st, 2026, I purchased a chocolate refiner machine on the website chocolatemelangeur.com for a total of 1.600 USD. The transaction was processed under the merchant name "KITCHEN" via a Mastercard debit card.After 8 days, the merchant has failed to provide a valid DHL tracking number. Although they claimed via email that the machine was "ready and shipping via DHL," they failed to provide any real shipping documentation within the 48-hour deadline I requested. The website order status remains completely empty regarding shipment verification.The merchant is withholding my funds without shipping the merchandise and is unresponsive to formal tracking requests. A formal international chargeback/dispute process has already been initiated through my bank. I am filing this report to alert consumer protection agencies about this company's fraudulent practices regarding international e-commerce.

Received a melanger that shed material during operation, contaminating my product after less than 13 hours of use. Reported the defect in January. The company promised a replacement twice — once in February, once on February 19 saying it would ship "Monday without fail." It is now March 19. No shipment, no tracking number, no communication. Eight weeks of excuses. Do not buy from this company if you expect any accountability after the sale.

My melanger arrived quickly, however without operation instructions and the concher attachment. After one week of daily emails and calls, they said I would definitely receive the part which turned out to be out of stock. Instructions were promised via email, never received. Requested a full refund. Very unhappy about their customer service.

I placed an order expecting prompt delivery, as the website indicated that the equipment was available for immediate dispatch and would arrive within 3-5 days. The pricing was shown in pounds, leading me to believe the company operates from the UK and that there wouldn’t be any additional fees for shipping or customs clearance.However, after my order was processed, I was informed that the estimated delivery time would be approximately 3 to 4 weeks, with an additional 1-2 weeks needed for dispatch. I was also told that I would be responsible for any Duties & Taxes plus Clearance charges at the destination.Upon receiving this information, I promptly requested a refund, as the new conditions were not acceptable for us. It has now been almost two weeks, and I have yet to receive a response or my refund. Instead, I have only received vague promises that they would find a solution.At this point, it feels like my concerns are being ignored. I have never encountered such poor customer service before, and I find this situation entirely unacceptable. I hope my review helps others in making informed decisions.

They are scammers. When you contact them they don't even respond. They promise you something but do absolutely nothing about the problem. Do not buy anything from this website.

Do not buy from them it is a Total scam!
First off on the website they say that they will pay the costs of delivery ass the import taxes. ( they changed it now)

When my order was in my country they would not Deliver it because the taxes where not payed. So I refused and when they almost send it back, they payed it.

When I received it there was no instruction manuel in the box as the different parts from the machine where in a different packaging ass normal.

When I checked the machine, there was a big dent. They wanted nothing to do with it but when I kept mailing and sending them they said I get 20 procent back. Now almost 1 month further. Still no money back. They read my messages and do not repley.

Do not spend you’re money on this company.
Pay a bit more with no worries if there is something broken or wrong with you’re machine.

I Will keep going untill I have my money back.

Customer service has promised to process my request.
9 months later, they haven't processed anything and I'm still stuck with a broken melanger.

False advertisement - Hazardous products - Low quality manufacture - AUS customer service is a donkey

I bought an Electra Melanger on the 21st of December 2021.

The delivery was swift but the product quality lacking, as the stone rollers still produced dust long after the initial cleaning procedure, resulting in many ruined batches of chocolate.

I contacted the Indian customer service. It was very hard to get in touch with them (live chat: no reply; mail: no reply; whatsapp message: no reply, the only was was by calling them repeatedly on whatsapp). The quality was bad as the customer support person didn't speak english well and the background noise-level was always high.

After a delay of 2 months, having to re-iterate my issue several times they managed to send me new rollers.

Then another problem arose: The stone rollers got stuck because the metal bolts holding them compacted the cocoa butter in them, thus preventing them from rotating freely.
I contacted customer service again, they told me "to scrape it with a spoon" and to "tighten the tension to the max".
I did so, this made the compacted cocoa even harder and after 12hrs of refining it made its way between the stone base and the rollers and blocked them because the tension was tightened to the max.
This locked the motor and the motor burned.
BURNED.
The advertised "Overheat protection" WAS A LIE. I got lucky that my house did not burn down as the motor did a shortcircuit before it could burn further.

I contacted customer service again, they said that since they sent me new rollers, they couldn't refund me !

I tried other customer support numbers and one replied, little did I know that it was the AUSTRALIAN customer support and that the person behind this is a complete and total incompetent donkey.

He let me wait for weeks at a time, telling me "we're processing your request" and never ever updating me.

After trying to get a reply, I got fed up and started posting about my bad experience on all their social medias. That got their attention since he ASKED ME TO REMOVE ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS + ADDING POSITIVE REVIEWS TO GET A REFUND.

Sorry what ???

Anyway, I did so, and that is also when I figured out that I was in contact with the AUS customer support instead of the Indian one.

I contacted the Indian customer support again and the person in charge there, Vengi, was very helpful and refunded me swiftly.

Upon digging on their website, I noticed that they sell "premiere wonder wet grinders" as "premier wonder chocolate melanger". That is false advertisement, as the original premier wonder wet grinders are not meant for chocolate, as their motor has no overheat protection not an endurance rating equivalent to the one used to make chocolate (2hrs runtime instead of 80)...

I have contacted Premier, but they can't do anything about it...

Also their retail authorisation letter is only for buyindiankitchen and from Santha, so not valid.

So, good job Vengi from the Indian customer support and SHAME on the australian customer support for requesting the removal of negative reviews and the addition of positive reviews to process the refund...
Shame on chocolatemelangeur.com for selling hazardous machines.

i bought electra 11 chocolate melanger!
Very good product and meets my expectations
Could get very finely ground cocoa in just under 30 mins.
The packaging was perfect too. The box containing the grinder and parts was repacked in a much bigger box with bubble plastic pouches. When opened everything was in perfect condition.
