Suspected replica item.
Ignore their reply, it’s not accurate. Have contacted trading standards, don’t waste your money or time with this company! “Your request to keep the item with a refund” let’s be honest now, I asked for you to provide me postage DIRECTLY to jelly cat as clearly you’re an untrustworthy company. I also offered to destroy the item (with photos) for a refund but I would not allow this item to fall in the hands of another child. This company has acted incredibly suspicious and desperate to get the item for themselves despite all evidence it’s fake. The item is being returned directly to Jellycat after I communicated with them, I’ve taken the financial loss as I unlike this company take children’s safety seriously. Keep your money, spend it at any other company. Shocking!
Recently purchased a Jellycat I was unable to obtain from the official Jellycat website, upon arrival noticed multiple discrepancies with the authentic exact same ones I had for my other children. Tried to rectify with the company and after a few scripted emails finally got through to real replies. The replies were unfortunately disappointing, the item meets many markers for a fake and at this point I am entirely confident that’s what I have received. After making it clear I would not be returning to them as I wanted it investigated that was all they were willing to offer. I don’t find this to be a trust worthy company and have contacted citizens advice to pass along concerns to trading standard. Real shame, would consider taking your money elsewhere.

I am very pleased that we have been able to chat with you via email and reassure you of our next steps as you were so concerned about the safety of the item, we had requested if you could return this to us, at our expense, so that we could then send onto JellyCat, and answer the questions you had emailed us about.
Your request to keep the item and have a refund was not possible, mainly as you had stressed your concerns about safety.
Thank you for taking the time to tell us that, we wanted to get an answer for you from JellyCat .
As a retailer of Children’s clothes and Toys, it is crucial that we act quickly on any feedback we have received concerning the safety of any items, so we were keen as well to find out what the differences meant and how we were able to then answer your questions to us.
On Thursday Jelly Cat replied and asked us to contact you to ask the following question:
''From the looks of it, the item they brought from you was from a different production run than the two items that were brought directly from Jellycat based on the two from Jellycat having an older style label.
If the customer can provide us with the batch number for the item brought from you, this will be on the reverse of the label showing ‘LOT3BB’; we can ask production to share some information on when these were produced.''
This was part of the email that we sent to you and suggested that the photos can be added to the email chain that we had been chatting on.
As you let us know you no longer wanted to hear from Childrensalon and that you were dealing with this yourself, we have not had an opportunity to send any information to JellyCat.
Of course, do let us know if you would like to proceed, by adding the photos requested by Jellycat to the email and we can forward them on and then inform you of the reply.

The product (Joha wool socks - which I have always loved) are great. I usually buy them from another retailer, but decided to give Childrensalon a go instead as their prices were a little cheaper.

Absolutely first class
I ordered some clothes for my grandson and opted for the Christmas wrapping. I was so so pleased when I saw the care that was taken with the parcel. Plus all the little extra items will really make this Christmas present special.

Left my valuable parcel outside my…
Left my valuable parcel outside my front door in a block of flats.
Got home from an unexpected trip to the hospital that morning to the contents of my package missing.
Called police and also told children salon.
The reply to that was it was delivered so there’s nothing they can do and dpd has the right to leave the parcel where they want.
Be very careful when ordering from this company because they will leave your goods anywhere and then leave u with an empty pocket.
How they don’t have signed for or take a package back with them for a parcel worth 800+ is mind baffling.
Good luck to anyone who orders from children salon
unfortunately if your not in when delivery is attempted its down to dpd if they want to leave a valuable package out in plain site for any scum bag to come along and help them self’s.
Expected more from this company.

I am so sorry that you have come to us with such a review and feel that you have had to rate this at 1 star.
We take all our reviews very seriously as this is your experience and you are sharing this with us.
I know you have been dealing directly with us via our delivery team.
DPD has been in contact with our delivery team through this investigation, we have worked with them providing them with CCTV footage from our dispatch centre showing your parcel (all three items) being prepared for packing, watching the packing, and seeing the dispatch area, which also involves the parcel being added to the van, when DPD arrived for the collection.
During the investigation, there have been images provided that show the parcel with DPD within their sorting area, the parcel is weighed and dispatched into the right area, that is North or South of the UK ready for dispatch. The weight of the box is checked throughout the journey.
All the photos show the parcel with no damage, to the box, which is sealed with reinforced fabric paper tape, this includes the parcel when it was delivered to you.
The photos of the Proof of Delivery (POD) show the box outside your door within an internal block. The DPD driver has not left the package outside the building on the pathway or pavement.
You have shared with us an open box that has been opened using an instrument that would need to penetrate the tape on the box as the tape is reinforced with fabric for strength, so if these items have been removed from the box, and the box is left in the corridor.
Can I suggest that you ask for the building genitor for the CCTV from the corridor of the building and add this with the crime reference number you have shared with us.
I can see that you have placed an order with us before, and this was delivered to the concierge. They will also have access to the CCTV so that you can provide this evidence to the law enforcement that you have let us know you have contacted so that they can support you with this.
I hope that the building can provide you with this information so that you can find out who has stolen from within the boundaries of your property.

I received an email straightaway confirming the order and my item was delivered 24 hours later, fantastic service. Beautifully packaged, and super impressed with the quality of the coat. Very impressed overall
Very impressed overall, as a first time customer. Chose the wrong delivery date and called at 8:20pm in the evening on the off chance someone would answer to rectify my mistake. To my surprise a lady answered and reassured me that it wouldn’t be a problem. True to her word it wasn’t and my items have been delivered on time for my son’s birthday. Very grateful for the excellent customer service and overall experience. Will be shopping with you again very soon.
