Me and my partner have been looking for are forever home and from day 1 Eloise has been fantastic. Communication has been great enquired about a property and she got back to me straight away and booked a viewing fell in love with the property and now we have finally got are forever home which we have been searching for a while. So thankyou so much Eloise will be definitely recommending this estate agent.

They’ve been great on two properties I’ve rented (Lucy & Bessie in Hove office) and were generally great and really speedy when I had problems in the house etc. Highly recommend

Right from the beginning the communication has been professional and very speedy. Nothing is too much trouble and we are very happy with the service so far.

We would like to thank the Bessie Tighe, the Property Relations Manager, for all the help which she has given to us during the past few weeks, when several matters arose at the same time on two of our properties. Throughout all the protracted transactions, she dealt with us in a professional and courteous way, been prompt in her replies to us, and we have found her advice very helpful.

However, we would like to mention for ongoing and future reference that when landlords are approached to consider the subject of rent reviews that a slightly longer period of time be given before the date of the two months´ notice expires. We found that the “lettings team” had to be consulted in order to make a decision as to the amount of rent which was suggested by ourselves. This process took much longer than anticipated, incurring many more emails than was necessary. Unfortunately, the two months` deadline date had expired by the time the lettings team were able to reply to us. This has meant that instead of waiting two months for the increase in rental payment to be made, we now have to wait three months – incurring us in a loss of a one months` increase in rent. Please could this time limit be taken into consideration when approaching the decisions which landlords have to make. Furthermore, one month ago we found it necessary to consult the lettings team on another subject and to date we have received no reply directly from them regarding that particular matter.

I would like to thank both Lydia and Cameron for their continual support from finding me a buyer, and my onward purchase. They have both exceeded my expectations with their market knowledge in terms of my home valuation, and their patience and diligence in finding me my perfect home.

I was working with Kate Alleston and she really made getting 186 Hollingdean pretty stress free, even with my previous buyers pulling out of the sale of my house! It was great dealing with Kate and I always felt she was really pulling for me to get the house I wanted and her communication was great, I really appreciate the positive way you approached things and everything you did to get me there. Much appreciation.

Isabella was excellent and cannot fault her professionalism and standards.

Stephen Henry was absolutely brilliant looking after our chain. He kept us informed every step of the way and was professional, calm and personable.

Although my purchase was a long and at times challenging process, Jo Goddard was consistently excellent throughout.

She was always responsive, polite and professional, and I really appreciated how proactive she was in keeping me updated. I rarely had to chase for information because Jo regularly called with progress updates, even if there wasn’t much to report. She was always happy to answer my questions, accommodate requests, and explain what was happening at each stage. Her communication and support made a stressful process much easier to manage.

I found the process of renting with Charters very easy and smooth. They are very helpful! Arranging viewings is quickly and smooth, more specifically I had a viewing in Southampton recently with Chloe Bowers and she was so nice and helpful. I ended up liking the place and she was very helpful with the whole renting process! I can't recommend them enough.

Not all estate agents are the same. Charters Southampton have selected staff that are a delight to deal with, great at communication, and their senior staff have elephantine knowledge of the local housing market.
