Chancellors have been amazing!
Due to an unforeseen change in our circumstances, we regrettably had to withdraw our house from the market.
Ella (and Tom, especially) have been so professional and supportive from the outset and had found us a buyer, offering full asking price, within 24 hours ... awesome!
We cannot recommend Chancellors enough - lovely people to deal with - we will definitely use them when we return to the market.

Working to a deadline, Melissa Shirley who helped with our purchase in Worcester was efficient and prompt at answering any questions I raised, no matter how trivial. Her communication with us and both sets of solicitors was faultless throughout. Will highly recommend the company and specifically Melissa and the team that dealt with our case!

Wouldn’t recommend chancellors Worcester, issues from the beginning, tried to hand in my notice during the cooling off period but gave them the benefit of the doubt, they:

- Overvalued my house to secure my listing, they valued 325k, we’re at 280k now and even that’s too much.
- Told us they had someone to view to get us to sign the contract quickly.
- Locked us into a crazy 24 week contract.
- Advertised my house as a flat
- Advertised my house as a leasehold
- Advertised my house as a converted manor home
- Advertised my house as an end mews with its own entrance
- Brochure full of spelling mistakes
- Bad communication from agents
- Booked in viewings, told me the incorrect time and lied that it was the viewers turning up early.
- Asked them to change a simple photo, ended up uploading two of them lol.
- Low quality description, house is described as having its ‘own entrance’ - duh?
- They posted my ‘Why I love it’ twice in the description, I ended up having to point it out the them 8 days later.
- Rude picking up the phone.
- Passive aggressive via email.

My Chancellors team is always ready to help and there to make sure I get the service and assistance I need in a timely manner. I feel I can be myself with my property support team because I know they will look to accommodate my needs, as and when. Thank you!

Reviews are, as I understand it, useful for two reasons. One, To enable future potential customers to decide to take the plunge with a company and Two, to provide feedback to companies on where they are doing well (or not).

I would like to take the opportunity to express that after performing many house purchases and sales over the years, both for myself and as investments. I can confidently say that all the larger estate agents seem to follow a similar pattern.
I have given 5 stars because Connor Elder and Matthew Dennis of the Foregate Street branch chose to follow a different pattern.
They were instead; enthusiastic, conscientious, professional and a pleasure to deal with. They took the time to listen, take on board what was said to them and act in a diligent manner. If their employer pays any attention to these reviews, they would be well placed to focus on doing business their way and not the desperate corporate route that all the big brands seem to insist on.
I would also like to express my thanks to the lovely Ella Thomas, with whom I had limited interaction with, but was always equally pleasant and invested when speaking with me.

A few months ago, I was working on a property for rent in Malvern. I had already chosen a letting agent who I was very happy with them and their board was outside the front of the property. The board prompted an agent from Chancellors to come onto the property and start pitching for business. No appointment, no phone call approach, just walked in off the street and started talking, uninvited.

This was followed by several phone calls. I had thought that I had made it clear that I had made my decision regarding agents, but apparently that was insufficient to prevent this person from trying to use me to poach business.

I did complain and got an email apology and thought that was an end to it, but this morning I received a ‘courtesy’ call from that same agent enquiring how it was going. I took the opportunity to explain that it was none of her business. I really don’t know what she hoped to achieve. Did she think maybe that I was going to renege on my contract with my current agent and miraculously prefer Chancellors, given that she had already shown that she didn’t respect the decision I had made before I even met her?

I have found Chancellors to be aggressively pushy and disrespectful in their actions. They are certainly not the kind of agent I want to represent me to my tenants.

We had quite an appalling start to the sale of our property with another estate agent.
We have gone back on the market with Chancellors after a conversation with the gentleman who was showing us around another property. I found him (Matt) to be very professional so I then got in touch with the Worcester office.
They have been amazing!! We are very pleased so far. I know they are new to the area but please give them a go you won’t be disappointed.

Lauren was very helpful and efficient supporting us throughout the letting process. 5 stars service!

Having recently purchased a property which was marketed by Chancellors, I can confirm the team are very helpful and approachable. In particular Matt Dennis was very friendly and made me feel at ease. He showed me around the property on three separate occasions and answered any questions I had with a smile.

From valuation till moving out, the whole team was available, especially Matt Dennis for clearing our doubts and updating enquiries from potential buyers. Matt was/has been very helpful and informative. Me and my husband are first time buyers and we feel he has made our experience and the process a lot easier than what we thought it would be. Very quick and officiant. Would highly recommend Chancellors and Matt
