To start on a high, the estate agent actually was very helpful. Answered any questions I had and was very kind. The issues started with communication. I was given a sales progressor who failed to give thorough updates and when they did, they were weeks after my solicitor gave me one. When I communicated this to them, they got very defensive, deflected and I was passed onto another sales progressor. No accountability taken. Again, same happened with the new progressor, slow/no updates, but I just cracked on and waited (almost pulled out at this point as I was now on the 5th month of waiting and the thought of them gaining commission on such an awful service really annoyed me). Completion day then came around, a day that is supposed to be so exciting and luckily was but only due to the people I was with. CHANCELLORS DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHO I WAS OR THAT I WAS THERE TO COLLECT THE KEYS. They didn't even know about the property even though it was their listing! They turned me away and I had to wait 6 hours until my solicitor gave me the go ahead to try and collect the keys again. I came back and was pretty annoyed (rightly so) and the person who gave me the keys tried to justify the situation by telling me how bad their experience was when they first bought a property?! I literally couldn't be arsed at that point. When I finally did collect the keys, someone was still vacant in the property! Luckily they were very kind but I didn't think it was very appropriate.

Nuvin from Chancellors was of incredible help when we needed it the most and found us a very nice apartment in better financial conditions than we were actually prepared to commit to.

Our agent, Nuvin, was friendly and courteous from the first time speaking with him on the phone. When we met he was very kind to my parent and spent time showing us around, we didn't feel we had to rush. Once we had agreed to take the property he kept us informed as to what was happening, what to expect, if there were any delay, etc. We did hit a hurdle but he had it resolved the same day. He made our house move easy.

Being a reluctant landlord, Nuvin has helped me all the way.

The manager possesses good peoples skills and professionalism. He is an efficient manger and I to the consider him to be an asset to the company.

Most friendly viewing so far. Serena was lovely to walk us around the house and provided every single detail that a newbie would want to look for in a house. She also talked about few things which we weren't aware of as a first time buyer. She diligently followed up on all our open queries and called us back with the answers. Chancellors has also made sure we are promptly catered as per our requirements.

Nuvin was very pleasant to deal with and very responsive. I will be happy to use him again to find me a tenant. The courteousness, efficiency and responsiveness of the person I deal with is very important to me.
The delay in obtaining the references was due to an error by the tenant not picked up by head office or whoever deals with that bit. It was resolved in the nick of time and would be the only criticism I would make of a straightforward and easy tenant find service that I got from Chancellors in Woking.

good communication and pleasant dealings so far

We were very pleased with the service provided by Nuvin- he found a property that fitted our requirements perfectly (unlike other agents who have been sending me completely inappropriate properties) and so I very much appreciated the lack of time wasting!! He found a good time for us to view the property and was then were very professional during the bidding process. We were very grateful for his advice and support throughout this period. And in the period after our offer was accepted he was always available with help and advice - again - great service and I would recommend Nuvin and Chancellors to anyone flat hunting!
