Chancellors helped me with the sale of my flat in St Johns Wood. The Sales team, led by Dean Whitley, is efficient, professional and courteous and maintained excellent communication with me. I was also delighted by the sales agent who dealt with my case, Hussein Mouhaffel. I would happily recommend Chancellors, based on my experience.

Everyone knew what they were doing and they did it in a professional manner such that they achieved results and very quickly. Their knowledge of the market was quite profound and was not only of benefit to my wife and myself but also would impress the would-be purchaser. Lead agent Ian Newton remained highly involved all the way through the purchase and constantly checked on what each side was doing in order to keep the deal moving along. He is not afraid to pick up the phone and have a chat about what is happening, which is a rarity in the modern world. He was supported by the Chancellors deal team, which is their specialist central team for getting transactions completed. So it is not just that Ian is good, but also that the firm is set up to behave in this way.

Buying property is often infuriating, with unnecessary hold-ups caused by lack of communication between the parties and between their solicitors. Having seen Chancellors in operation, they are the only agent I would positively recommend.

Be carefull with this company, after I left the apartment they are keeping my deposit even after the landlord agreed to payback full amount. They keep inventing excuses and lies and are not paying back my deposit. Stay away.

I would like to share my situation to make sure no one will get through same. Unfortunately and without any reasons the agency cannot contact the landlord therefore Im still waiting for my deposit (it has been +7 weeks since I left the property) literally a nightmare. And also I just been told they are not able to do anything else but chase (so I’m left in limbo).

This is the worst situation ever. Let’s see how it will end up. I will definitely never ever trust them again.

Also as solution from their side is none. Only myself being contacting TDS… so what’s the agency does?
