Developing trust on someone you've known takes time. Here is a situation where we were continents apart and yet I can confidently say I trust Miles for his professionalism and transparency. Always prompt, responsive, eager to help, understanding and solution oriented. My entire experience with Miles and the agency has been splendid and most comfortable. I would not recommend Chancellors estate agents at all, in fact they provided the worst estate agency experience of my many years of buying and selling property.
It took us 2 weeks to arrange to view the property which we eventually did by contacting the vendor directly. Once the sale was agreed the vendor unfortunately decided to use Chancellors in house conveyancing who are located remotely and have no local knowledge and had no sense of urgency, ignoring our solicitors enquiries for over 2 months. Sales progression is dealt with in another office so they have no idea about individual cases, the local office never answer the phone triggering a call back from a remote office who again have no idea what is happening with individual sales.
The sale dragged on far longer than necessary even though there was no chain either side and ultimately ended up with large financial implications for us as a result.
The staff in the office were all pleasant enough but no one took responsibility or control of our purchase and it was almost impossible to get to speak to anyone.
The icing on the cake for us was on completion day as even though our solicitor had sent completion monies at lunchtime, the sellers conveyancer ‘lost the money’ meaning we didn’t actually complete until 17.55 on the Friday. Useless.

If you are looking for a proactive Estate Agent that isn't relying on a 'big name' or sitting back in their offices waiting for their phones to ring then Chancellors Hereford Office are the ones for you! We went under offer in August and these guys are the only agents that have called us since. They have kept in regular contact; actively showing us property before it came to the open market and on one occasion we were almost 'first in the door'. Exchanged and now moving into rental we are still looking and they are still leaving messages - super friendly, very professional and lots of local knowledge. The kind of agent you want to be dealing with in this crazy market - we are local and they have never made us feel 'second rate' to the London buyers. If you're like us and feeling that rightmove is the only place you're going to see the next property to view then call these guys because they'll prove you wrong! Tim has been particularly diligent - thank you - I hope we eventually find something through you.

It's not often we buy or sell a house, in fact its been 8 years since we last moved. And let's be honest; its always a bit off a gamble as to what the estate agents your buying from are like! After all you get to choose your selling ones.
But... I am already blown away with the level of commitment and service I have received already.
I have had the pleasure of speaking with Tristan and he is completely on the ball. His team are always pleasant and courteous and I honestly couldn't say nicer things.

The Chancellors was very helpful with my process of renting. My rent was quite urgent but everything went very smooth and great. The staffs responds very quickly and effectively. Would definitely find Chancellors again if I were to rent another place.
