Having to sell a house as an executor to someone’s will was always going to be tricky, especially as I do not live in the UK. Chancellor’s made the whole process run smoothly handling all of the viewings. The level of communication from them has been impressive keeping me informed at every stage. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Spoke to the office to arrange a viewing and booked a slot, turned up at the viewing, was introduced to the agent and showed around the property in a very polite manor. Very professional

Generally speaking I have always viewed estate agents as people who made a lot of money without doing a lot of work. Never really saw the value added.

But when i was struggling to rent my flat and having to deal many timewasters, i decided to begrudgingly give Simon Swanson @Cancellors a shot at renting it on a finders fee basis.

I must say i was blown away by the professionalism, knowledge and patience Simon had.
He understood my requirements and never pushed me to accept a tenant i wasn't fully comfortable with , just gave me the pros and cons and in the end found me a perfect tenant.
Also given his vast experience in the rental sector it was good to keep picking his brain from time to time as well when updating my own paperwork and files.

For someone who doesn't like spending money, i can definitely say it was money well spent to save me to stress and hassle of doing multiple viewings and narrowing down a suitable tenant.

I would not hesitate in recommending Simon and the rest of the team @chancellors for anyone looking to rent out their property in Basingstoke on a finders fee basis.

I went to chancellors after being recommended to discuss renting my house out with Simon there. I was not disappointed. Simon and his team were very helpful and efficient. I managed to get my house rented and exchanged within 4 weeks, which was perfect as I needed a quick turn around. Being a first time landlady I had lots of question which the team were happy to answer. I am very happy with how smoothly the whole process went. Thank you to the whole team at chancellors.

Chancellors provided a steady flow of potential buyers to my property and advised me through a tricky negotiation. Some of their communication has been a little patchy, which is why I'm not giving them 5/5 but that's to be expected with a new office.

Councillor Basingstoke started out really good with David Carville at the management. Unfortunately he left and the office fell into disarray. Fortunately Martin Duke Was employed and managed to turn the whole situation round in a couple of weeks we have now accepted an offer and have been very pleased with Martin Duke‘s work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin Duke

Really professional service received so far and in my opinion the best from personal experience. Right from arranging my appointment things were easy, received confirmation as well as digital business card plus confirmation call on the day - much appreciated. Martin arrived on time and was very helpful, friendly and well prepared for the meeting - if I make the decision to put my property on the market it will be with Martin.

I would like to say that dealing with Chancellors Estate Agent has been very positive. The staffs attitude is very genuine and caring in trying to look for the right property to suit your needs. I felt like I was being listened too and they were genuinely interested in finding a property that would fit my needs as I am partly disabled. In the first 9 days I had 3 call backs and the manner in which the staff spoke was very caring and genuine. In todays world I felt like I was being listened to and was not just a number. Daisie Gentry at Chancellors has been so friendly and helpful. She has such a lovely positive attitude, she made our first time negotiating on a house that little bit less stressful! She's been really quick at getting back to queries and when she didn't know the answer, was really prompt to follow up after finding the answers for us.

Simon Swanson, the Lettings Manager, was very attentive, thorough and professional in marketing and letting our property. He identified potential tenants quickly and supported us through the marketing and handover processes. Chancellors has a good system which made it easy for us as landlords.

Chancellors of Basingstoke & Camberley has handled the sale of my property to a high standard, the team has been professional and polite, kept me informed with emails and on the app,my chancellors account, Daisy who did my viewings was on time polite and very easy to talk to, i had beautiful professional photos taken of my home that were a very good standard and im sure helped with the sale.
