Sold my flat, eventually.

Quoted a commission rate without VAT during initial evaluation and added that on over the phone, refusing to budge.

Got my name wrong basically constantly during the entire process.

Continually failed to use the online app they choose to use, which was lauded to me during the initial process of getting my custom - which I guess I was paying for through that commission? This meant I wasn't getting any prompt feedback from viewings to use to make adjustments, and in some cases had no idea viewings were happening and got caught out by one whilst doing some work to the flat.

Outrageously overvalued my property, continually had to bump the price down until I nearly lost money on it.

Better off trying to sell it yourself if you've got the time, honestly.

Simona has recently been a bit of a saving grace. I have had a very poor and increasingly difficult and frustrating experience with Chancellors recently, so much so that I am severing all ties with them after at least 25 years of being a client which they value in no way at all. However, each time there was an issue Simona handled my case in a way that no one else at the company did - with calm listening, understanding, professionalism and took some proactive steps to try and make things right. Unfortunately her senior management would not budge despite her best efforts. They would do well to take a lead out of her book as would other members of the Chancellors team as I believe she is an asset to the company in a way that I have not seen from anyone else at the company in recent months. Simona was in a difficult situation as I believe she could see the bigger picture, but managed to navigate it very well.

Fantastic experience. George and Stephanie were brilliant at sorting viewings at times that worked with my schedule. They bent over backwards to ensure that a second viewing worked. My offer was communicated promptly, as was its acceptance. There was never a whiff of upselling or skullduggery and everyone was fair and honest. After acceptance, Tanja in the completions team kept all of the solicitors communicating well.

The best experience I have ever had with estate agents and I wouldn't hesitate to commend them to anyone selling a property. Lovely people and very professional and effective.
