Libby was great at sorting out my rent dispute proactively. She had the matter sorted in minutes. Would highly recommend.

Chancellors manage a property which I rent out in Amersham. The property is professionally managed with regular inspections, and any issues are brought to my attention immediately. I am impressed by the service given, and especially that provided by Libby Scott who is always courteous and very efficient.

Be very careful if you try to sell your property and have to pull out for any reason. Their T&Cs are well hiddenin the contract but I have just been landed a bill for £1000 for putting a board up, showing people around my property twice and... admin.

I made a request that was actioned immediately and in a very helpful matter. Libby was also very polite and friendly.

Listed my house for sale with Chancellors after they contacted me to do so. Was given the pitch to use their suggested partner for conveyancing but declined, was a bit pushy but glad i continued to refuse.

The brochure had issues which took some time to fix going back and forth but eventually sorted. I had one person put a note through my door saying it was impossible to get Chancellors to let them book in a viewing so i had to do that one myself separately.
Once an offer was accepted the case was passed to the Sales progression team.
Progression was very slow despite our buyer using the partner for conveyancing (no contact with the buyer for many weeks). Progress updates only seemed to come after we had emailed and called. When complaining and requesting a reduction in fees I was told it was good we were still within 4 months to complete. Not acceptable in my opinion given we had a small chain.
It took weeks of chasing and sorting things myself to get to exchange and completion. It should have been easy from there but after packing up and leaving for the new house we were told a document was missing from our buyer so couldn't complete. More frantic calls and Chancellors did a good job to get the document sorted but it was too little too late. We completed on our sale but the purchase did not so we were left homeless for the night, no belongings and stressed pets. Lots more expense incurred by us for removals storage and redelivery and still have not had communication from the partner conveyancer.
Was the most stressful and upsetting experience.

We have been home searching for many months and when we registered with Chancellors we felt that Daniel listened to our specific requirements and all the properties he sent us/ showed us were excellent matches! Warning to Landlords
Have been using Chancellors Lettings on a rent collection service for at least 10 years. Recently they offered us a ‘free’ 3 month trial of Fully Managed service, which we agreed to. At the end of the trial we did not want the Fully Managed service as it actually created more hassle ie Chancellors called a plumber out to attend to the boiler, billing us, when boiler was still under warranty. We informed Chancellors we wanted to discontinue this service. They then told us we have to give them three months notice to cancel. They did not explain this at the beginning and it seems in order to get the free 3 month trial we would have to have given notice to terminate, at the start of the trial. I have never experienced a free trial where you have to give notice to terminate at the same time.

I found CHANCELLORS to provide a very professional and attentive service. They were attentive to my needs and support with buying my property and I would highly recommend them as a company and Daniel was so very personable and genuine with his support and help. At a rather anxious and somewhat scary time, he put me at ease and has helped to make my purchase smooth running. Many thanks to him and the team.
