The first thing I will say here is that if you are looking to deal with a company full of s**t and false promises then these are the guys to use!

My business was approached by Chameleon earlier this year about their services and we had a visit from a bloke called Gavin Beeston. Seemed legit and he told us about how fantastic they were at retrieving debts etc the usual spiel you get from salesman. They asked for a £300 payment up front and told us this was the case as their collection percentages were so competitive.

He seemed legit and off he went promising to jump onto our bad debtors right away. a week went by and we heard nothing. This was when the chasing started.....

Weeks went without any updates, we chased and chased and were constantly told we could receive updates the following week. That contact came however it was the usual stories every week. "we are doing all we can to pursue your debts"

Another month or so went by and still no progress, I tried to contact Gavin (who has a lovely green Chameleon as his WhatsApp profile picture) and once again unsurprisingly nothing from him. I then finally received a call from Chameleon telling me not to call Gavin as he was busy chasing debts.

Not sure whose debts Gavin was so busy chasing although clearly not bloody ours!

I then as a last straw contacted Chameleon asking for a meeting to discuss their services and false promises however unfortunately they didn't have the backbone to even do this and we were told that the company owners would contact me when next in the area. That was 3 months ago so I can only suspect they are sitting on a beach with all the up front payments they've taken off people.

To date over 6 months after becoming a client they have collected absolutely ZERO debts for us leaving us out of pocket and now using more reputable collection agencies.

Good luck if you are using these crooks.

Faultless service. From our initial email enquiry to the end result of us being paid the team were efficient, professional and communicated at every step. Clear explanations of timeframes, recovery process, communications with the debtor etc. They made an incredibly stressful situation manageable. Clear, transparent charging structure. I honestly cant rate any higher.

We had issues with slow paying customers and disputed payments, we now use Chameleon credit control and its alot better now, we would highly recommend.

I take this review back. I was told id get this money by the fri still nothing.
Then i get an email staying they taking the money for another debt that they should be claiming from them.
So what exactly did i pay £300 for to start with !!

They where slow to respond to
An enquiry waiting for credit checks on prospective Tenant. Should take a day or 2 at most.Hopefully it will improve in future, given reassurances it will by manger.

As a small family business we required the services of Chameleon Collections. We were recommended them by a friend and have been very impressed by the service provided. They are professional, efficient and very supportive throughout. I can’t recommend them enough.

Being a small company, who provide services to much larger companies, chasing non-payments is time consuming and stressful, thankfully through a former colleague I was recommended Chameleon Collections, who managed to resolve our issues swiftly.

We have used Chameleon as we had run out of other options with a none payer. The customer had received around 20 phone calls, 7 emails and 2 letters from our accounts dept. It took 2 phone calls and 1 letter from Chameleon to get the matter settled. A good company which we would use again in the future.

I have work with a couple of dept recovery Agencies but this is by far the best one fantastic to work with simple quick and easy if I had any problem it would get sorted straight away chameleon collections are the best in its group ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As a recruitment agency, we use a factoring and invoicing company who have their own Debt Collection team. After their numerous attempts of getting a client to pay a large bill, we heard no correspondence for months and after being told that we should try to get the debts back ourselves, we decided to look for our own Debt Collection Team.

We came across Chameleon Collections and now they deal with our credit control, it is so much better, efficient and I would highly recommend them. We no longer have to deal with slow paying customers and disputed payments.

We had an issue with a supplier who was causing major stress to me and my business. Heavily disputing owing the money which we i was going to take legal. Chameleon collections contacted me and explained how they can help and I joined them as a customer and am happy to say they recovered my money and I would definitely use them again. Normally would use courts but I now use chameleon for all issues 5 stars *****

Overdue invoice causing cash flow issues was resolved with 14 days, invoices have since been paid in line with contract. Would definitely use this collections team again

I wouldn’t even give this so called business a 1star but I had to to be able to write a review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.SHOCKING they don’t even answer any of there phones they promise you the Earth but do nothing ,I will be taking this further

They were given a number of debts to chase over 10 months ago, and took a £250 retainer from us before starting work. In that time we have received no repayments and no feedback from the company despite numerous attempts to contact them.

I have asked for a breakdown of the work they have done on our behalf over the 10 months but received nothing back from Chameleon Collections. I can only assume that they have taken the retainer but done no work for the money.

For a supposedly medium sized firm they don't have any staff to answer their own phones. When trying to call them to discuss our concerns the phone has eventually rung out on many occasions. Answerphone messages and emails go unanswered.

There are a number of decent debt collection companies in the area. Chameleon Collections is not one of them. DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY UP FRONT.

We use chameleon as part of our credit control and we have them chase up any slow paying customers and one in particular which caused us a big problem but chameleon sorted it would recommend,

Chameleon collections really came through for me, they helped me get back a large amount of money that I had written off! Which really helped considering the size of my business. Aswell as helping me sort out slow players. Would recommend Chameleon to anybody who has issues.

Awful service, do not waste your money. Initially Gavin gave a fantastic sales pitch and was consistent with communication, confident he would deliver on his words and get the debt in with ease, I foolishly handed over £449 as an upfront setup cost. Since then I have not heard from him, furthermore correspondence with the company as a whole has been pitiful, I only hear from them after chasing them up for an update (far from how Gavin promised the process would be) I am still waiting to get a reply back from an email I sent 3 weeks ago today. In a nutshell I passed over 3 different debtors owing a collective debt of over £10,000, one of which already had a CCJ we got issued. In just over 3 months Chameleon have not even managed to get in 1p of the debt, that is 3 different pay dates for these debtors gone and one is a homeowner. Waste of money do not give them any upfront fees! I have since passed the debt to a company that use high court enforcement and it is looking much more promising that I will retrieve money owed.
