I ordered a 49 hamper for my sister in law and then a couple of hours later I emailed to request a cancellation as my wife had already sorted something else. Didn’t hear back from Hamperwell and when the parcel arrived a few days later, I refused delivery. The parcel went back to Hamperwell. Then I requested a refund. After several unanswered emails to Hamperwell, I raised an issue with my credit card. Unbelievably, Hamperwell had the gall to claim that I kept the item, refused a return label and provided proof of delivery to my credit card who then applied the charge back to my account. The proof of delivery shows the item actually back to them, so I’ve challenged this again and hoping I get a refund. But several weeks and I’m Still waiting on a refund. Currently 49 out of pocket and nothing to show for it. Worst customer service ever

Ordered a month in advance for a birthday present. Chose delivery day for said birthday. This company FORGOT to send. They didn’t remove u tik the actual birthday and then decided to send the wrong items by 24 hour delivery. The person waited in all day on their birthday for their gift. Then the next day it was left in the doorstep all day to melt.
Don’t use this company they don’t care about their customers. They only care about money

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I paid £45 for what turned out to be a box worth less than £10 in products—completely misleading and poor value for money. I specifically ordered next-day delivery for Mother’s Day, yet it didn’t arrive until four days later, which completely defeated the purpose.
To make matters worse, I sent multiple emails to their customer service team and never received a single response. I also tried calling several times, but they never answered the phone. The lack of communication and accountability is incredibly frustrating.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience—overpriced, unreliable, and with nonexistent customer support. I would not recommend this company at all.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Hamperwell.
I placed an order on the 12th of March and paid extra for what was clearly advertised as Royal Mail Tracked 24-hour delivery, with a guaranteed delivery date of the 13th of March. The whole reason I paid for early delivery was because I needed the hamper before Mother’s Day, so it could be given on the Saturday, as she was not going to be here on Sunday. Despite this, the item did not arrive until Sunday the 15th nearly 72 hours later. This completely defeats the purpose of paying for expedited delivery and is frankly unacceptable.
As a result, the gift couldn’t even be given when intended. We were forced to give it on Tuesday when she returned — completely missing the occasion. What was the point?
What makes this even worse is that I took the time to write a thoughtful Mother’s Day message for my daughter to give to her mother, and the card was not included at all. This was a key part of the order and its absence completely ruined the sentiment behind the gift.
This experience shows a complete lack of care, reliability, and attention to detail. When customers are paying for a service especially for special occasions the least you expect is that the company delivers what was promised.
Please be very cautious when ordering from this company. There is clearly a reason their customer satisfaction rating is below 3 stars. In hindsight, I deeply regret not choosing another company at a similar price point. This was a complete waste of money.
I would strongly advise others not to make the same mistake. Furthermore they lie saying they have 4.5 rating on judge me when the company does not exist when you click the liblnk??? AVOID AT all cose

Husband is gutted. We don’t have a lot of money and we’ve been completely scammed here. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Ordered a Yankee candle ultimate gift hamper came with 12 fake rose heads 12 little chocolates and 4 non branded candles absolute robbery for 40 pounds could of made one myself 4x the size do not order from this company

I feel I do not need to write a bad review, as there are hundreds of others that have written exactly what I came here to say.
•Only one of the two orders received.
•Four emails sent, over the course of 7 days, and no response.
•The item I did receive did not contain what I had ordered.
•Extortionate price for what you get (or don't, lol).
Overall, this is the worst experience I've had with an online store. Utter disappointment. A disgrace.

Will now be contacting the Ombudsman if still no response.
Avoid this SITE!! Completely unreliable!
I strongly advise against ordering from this website. The reviews shown on their site are all 5‑star, which initially reassured me, but it’s now obvious they only publish positive reviews and block customers from submitting their own. There is no option anywhere on their website to leave a review, which prevents honest feedback and misleads new customers.
I ordered the Malteser and Galaxy bouquet specifically because it included Maltesers, yet my order arrived with no Maltesers at all. Several chocolate bars had also fallen off during transit. I emailed the company more than five times and have been completely ignored.
Based on my experience and the similar complaints I’ve now seen from others from offline review portals this company repeatedly sends incorrect or poor‑quality orders, takes customers’ money, and then refuses to respond. I have reported the website to Trading Standards, and I encourage others to do the same so this behaviour can be properly investigated.

Place my order on a Monday and paid for 2 day delivery, package didn't arrive till the following Monday. Sent a couple of emails with no reply. I ordered the lindt and Yankee candle box, the candle are just cheap and not Yankee candles. I will never use again.
False advertising

Not Value for Money - Not even close!
Firtsly, i found it embarrassing that someone i care about had to recieve what i thought 'looked' like something a bit different for Valentines Day, in reality it was a box of old tat worth ± £3 tops, with false descriptions of what i was actually paying £45 for! No Yankee Candles, a couple of Lindt Chocolates & some cheap chocolate heart s that i wouldn't feed a dog. Stear clear of this mob, its no surprise that you are not directed to reviews from their website! I'm being very generous awarding one star as it wasn't even worth that!

No yankee candles, instead two cheap looking candles unbranded that have no smell.
The soap roses look awful, the chocolates are cheap replacements and a handfull of lidnt chocolates .

Rewriting my review as I did get a refund. Ordered item thinking they were a big company. Realised that I had missed off house name. Completely my fault. Emailed within 5 mins of placing order and again another two times asking them to add this. It was not dispatched fo next working day so assumed they would pick it up but they didn’t. Got an email eventually saying it was too late to change address and then got a notification RM won’t deliver as address incomplete. Emailed again and I did eventually get a refund which was appreciated. It’s a shame as product did look good but a quicker response to email could have rectified this or atleast allowed me to ensure the 21st birthday recipient actually had got a gift on their birthday. Customer service is poor. Three stars as they did refund.

Ordered a blue hamper for a friend on 23 December with 24 hour Royal Mail tracked.
They took payment, haven't sent any items, and have no customer service department. Obviously they're no longer operating, left their website up as a SCAM, then just taking money off the people.
Beware - this company is a SCAM.
Shocking service
I ordered on 4th December 3 x liquorice hampers worth £50. The box arrived at my local sorting office open and empty.
Four emails later and still no response. I'm now contacting my bank to recoup my payment.

Received a email that it would be posted with Royal mail 24 hours No email to say it has been shipped. On shop it says shipped. Emailed 3 times, no reply. There is no phone number. Feel totally riped off, definitely not happy
