Although not our first time buying a house, this was our first time buying on a new build development. We really cannot recommend Cavanna Homes enough.

From the moment we first viewed the houses with Kevyn Dixon to now having moved in two weeks ago, it has been a real pleasure buying from them. Kevyn couldn't have helped us anymore. He was honest at all times and was superb at keeping us up to date with progress throughout the 7 months of purchase. I couldn't have asked for a better sales person and he is a true credit to Cavanna. Him alone would make me buy another Cavanna home.

The Site Manager Willie Whitelaw has ensured a true quality house is built and with set backs such as Covid and bad weather, he did fantastic at making sure the house was ready on time. All the tradesmen/women on site have been fantastic and have not been any bother since we've moved in.

We hope others have the same experience we did.

My experience with Cavanna Homes has been excellent. My fiance and I are first time buyers and wanted to go down the new build route. Chris based at the Belle Vue, Bude site has been extremely helpful throughout the whole process - explaining each step, giving advice on our options and answering the masses of questions we had! The brochures/website are very informative, and present an impressive looking estate. Growing up in the area, it meant a lot to us to be able to buy our first house here too - such a fantastic location, with beaches just 2mins drive away! I would like to thank Chris and Cavanna Homes for all the help! Can't wait to move into our house later this year!

Would highly recommend Cavanna homes at Bellevue, Bude. We have just bought our first home and Chris at Bellevue has been very helpful, professional and easy to deal with. Being first time buyers it is all new to us so Chris has been massively helpful and very understanding the whole way through the process. Having lived in Bude my whole life it’s amazing to be able to buy my first home in Bude and continue to live in this beautiful area with so many lovely beaches so close to home. In particular, Liana was an absolutely incredible support- throughout the whole process she kept us continuously updated with photos and emails of the house. She was very aware of how challenging buying a house was in the midst of a pandemic.

Furthermore, she was always prepared to show us around the house when permitted, as well as checking in with us from start to finish always ready and willing to offer some very helpful and thoughtful ideas. If there were any moments in which assurance was needed, Liana was a calming and very knowledgeable presence- she had such a thorough understanding of the stresses that buying your first house may provoke and really helped us understand the whole process.

She is a real asset to Cavanna and we can’t thank her and the Cavana team enough for making this process so easy!

We really recommend this company to anyone thinking of making a house purchase in the future.

We have recently purchased a home at Broadleigh park, Tavistock from Cavanna homes.
We have never purchased a new home and this was an exciting moment for us. From the first day day we made contact with Cavanna to the day we finally moved in Cavanna have never failed to meet our expectations. A special mention has to go the team at Broadleigh from Karen and Tom in the sales office to Guy and the team on the ground they have all proved to be helpful, professional and above all extremely friendly, nothing seems to be too much bother.
The quality of the home is great and the detail that has gone into the design is both thoughtful and efficient on both space and quality of fittings.
Even now as we are in the midst of the build on site great care and consideration is always shown to us even to the point of keeping the roads clean for us. Its that care and attention I feel makes the company an outstanding house builder.

We bought a house at Lyme View, Holcombe at the end of November 2020 and couldn't be happier with it. The build quality and finish are excellent and exceeded our expectations. The process from reservation to legal completion was handled very professionally by Cavanna, despite hiccups and delays on our side. Since moving in, Cavanna has dealt with the few snagging issues very efficiently.

We are particularly grateful to Kevyn Dixon, the site Sales Advisor, for all his help throughout the buying process and for his ongoing help. He is a real asset to Cavanna.

we have found Cavanna homes to be excellent with their professionalism buying a new property, and the after service care we are presently being provided with. Our process over the last year has not been easy, and the last six months exceptionally stressful. Karen our sales advisor has been excellent in every aspect of supporting us and keeping a very professional stance combined with warmth and empathy. It is accurate to comment that she was our only point of call who kept us informed with latest developments, her communication via email/phone or making a safe appointment was explementary. There were moments when we felt Cavanna Homes could have given time limits to our constantly changing completion date, this was due to others within the conveyancing chain, they could have sold the house several times - but they didn't this was due to Karen giving head office an honest and accurate account of our position. We moved a week ago and love our new home, we thank everybody for making it happen and would have no hesitation in recommending Cavanna Homes.i

We brought our new build house in 2020, this is our first house we brought, Cavanna homes made our first experience very easy thank-you to liana and the team at barley meadow site in Dawlish, it was great to see our house come to life after we purchased, thankyou to liana we got photos every couple of weeks to show the progress of the house which was great to see how our house was coming along! we’re both extremely pleased with the finish & continued support we get from the team here at barley meadow, and we thank you all very much, very happy and would recommend to any one thinking of buying a new home.

I couldn't be happier with our Cavana home. It is our first home and Cavana Homes made everything very easy to understand and informed us of the next steps throughout the process and once we moved in with our handbook. They kept us fully informed of the development stages of the plot and answered any queries we had. The build of the house is fantastic and finished to a very high standard. On a cold sunny Saturday in January we made an off the cuff decision to look at new build developments. We looked at Broadleigh Park followed by another new scheme in Tavistock.
As a family of 4 (at the time) we were welcomed into the sales office at Broadleigh Park and had the chance to look around the show home and another completed property. We were instantly sold by the quality of the homes, and the future plans for the development. Straight away we knew Broadleigh Park was for us and by Sunday evening we had reserved our home.
Thereafter Karen has been great and provided us with excellent customer service, smoothly taking us through the buying process and into our new home. From the start we found Karen and the team welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Our build was delayed by 3 months due to Covid but we were regularly updated and reassured on progress which put our minds at ease.
Since moving in Guy has visited regularly and has been really helpful in resolving the minor issues we have had, he has gone above and beyond and has given us some really helpful and knowledgeable advice.

I moved into my super new home at Wolborough Hill in April 2020 during " lockdown" and despite the challenges this presented, I was able to move in on the original completion date. This was entirely due to the efforts of the Cavanna Team and in particular the Sales Negotiator Sarah Bowden. During "lockdown" any queries I had were dealt with promptly and efficiently in line with restrictions in place. Once "lockdown" eased Gary Gregory the site manager was there too.
I would have no hesitation in recommending a Cavanna Home. I love it!

My husband and I recently moved into a new Cavanna home in Wolborough Hill, and are absolutely delighted! The Cavanna team have been amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. We were listened to, and kept updated by phone or email throughout our process. Relocating from Southampton and having to deal with issues during “lockdown” was made so easy by Sarah Bowden, who is a great communicator.
Shout out to Gary the site manager too, who dealt with small issues promptly. Would 100% recommend a Cavanna home, it’s just beautiful.😊

My husband and I recently bought the show home at Broadleigh Park Tavistock as part of the Cavanna Homes Lease Back Scheme. Our dealings have mainly been with Chris Hodder who has been outstanding. He explained the whole process clearly and any questions we had were quickly dealt with. He always came back to us when he said he would which was reassuring. The purchase has been very straight forward and Cavanna Homes are extremely professional in everything they do. Once we completed it was great to receive a call from Karen Overton at Broadleigh, introducing herself and again answering our questions. On our experience I would thoroughly recommend Cavanna Homes for their superb service and skilled craftmanship. It is also reassuring to buy from a genuine Devon based company rather than a national chain.

We have recently purchased a new property at Broadleigh Park, Tavistock. From our first meeting with Karen their sales advisor through to completion we found the whole process to be trouble free and professional. Once we moved in we found our home demonstration with Guy and Karen to be very informative and helpful. We found a small number of snags as you would expect with any new build property, these were reported but unfortunately the whole site had to now closed due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
As soon as the site reopened Steve the site manager informed us he was aware of our snags and did his upmost to keep us informed as to when the tradesmen would arrive. All the tradesmen were very professional and friendly and he checked after to make sure the work had been completed to our satisfaction. We are very happy with our new home and would recommend Cavanna Homes to anyone looking for new build house in Tavistock as their designs are varied and appealing to the eye. We would like to thank Steve, Guy and Karen for all their help during the current strange times.

Me and my partner are first time buyers, we bought a 3 bedroom semi detached house in Stoke Gabriel (Kings Orchard) & from start to finish we have had outstanding service especially from Kevyn Dixon who was our sales advisor.
We are particularly blown away by how amazing everybody has been since moving into the property, everything was quick and efficient and they couldn’t have done any more to make us feel more at home!

And didn’t have a clue what we were doing, but from the first meeting of potentially buying, everything was explained and understood we have been well looked after through the whole process and offered loads of help along the way, we are now home owners and we would recommend a cavanna home to anyone who is interested in buying Everybody was extremely helpful

I don't believe anyone who has wrote a good review on here is in the building trade and know what a good finish is which is what you would expect from a new property. I went for a walk around the Plymouth airport development and was shocked at how quickly the properties have deteriorated. Then also going inside a number of homes the inside finish wasn't any better it's no wonder they have lost 1 of their stars they should lose 4 of their 5 stars. I've also been into some of the Tavistock properties now under construction & noticed they are not even bothering to plaster walls anymore just fill screw holes and paint anywhere they can save a pound they will but they like to call themselves a premier house builder. I am glad I did my homework and used my 30 years experience in the building trade so I was able to pull out of buying in time. These are just some of the faults I found in homes no more than 5 years old poorly fitted doors, skirting, cupboards, carpets, damp, mould, walls/stair banister not plumb didn't even need a spirit level to see this. Outside there was cladding on properties that was coming away, leaking gutters, rocking/uneven slabs, front doors de-laminating, coping stones lose & covered in rust the list goes on. I suggest before making the biggest investment of your life walking around the 504 Plymouth airport development with a experienced builder to see what your investment may look like after 5 years. I'm now waiting to see how brexit turns out maybe a bargain to grab if economy takes a down turn & housing market slows down but will not be buying a new property as the quality is just not there anymore unless I find a piece of land & build it myself.
