Helpful friendly staff made choosing carpet and right underlay easy.

Adam at the Exeter branch was superb, without over pushing for the sale and that's why I placed an order straight away and made an appointment for a surveyor on another project. Let's hope the service from the company is as efficient and as good . Follow up call on Monday from Vicky which was great as well. Thanks both

Great helpful & friendly store staff at Exeter. Been a customer for over 20 years & wouldn't use anybody else. One critic is lack of colour choice but I suppose that is the trends of fashion at this point in time.

Terrible firm NEVER Use . Ordered carpet for one room and told the surveyor we wanted similar to our previous wood floor. All he did was push LVT at us not telling us how different in height it would be !!!! Fitters came laid the Latex floor and not leaving more than 14 hours before putting on LVT which should b a minimum of 24 hours . Rude fitters who couldn’t do job correctly damaged are beautiful kitchen and both Carpetright and these so called “ Floorlayers” I would call them

We arrived to be greeted by friendly Vicky - she was excellent with her customer care. We tried to submit a Review in the shop (using the QR code) but it wasn't working! She'd have missed out on many good reviews because the thing wasn't working! We told her verbally how impressed we were with her customer liaison, her knowledge and experience etc.

Staff all efficient and helpful in all departments.

I would just like to say Adam who works at the Exeter store is absolutely amazing and such a great person so helpful and kind carpet right should be so proud of him, I would also like to thank two fitters who came in today Connor and Callum they went over and above the work they were called in to do outstanding can’t thank them all enough for what they did, special thanks to Adam who has been there from beginning to end thank you Brenda and Norman

We had a brand new carpet and LVT flooring fitted. The fitting was shockingly bad and clearly done by someone who has no idea what they are doing. All fitting is sub-contracted out to fitters they vet and choose. They even charge you a fee for this. The levelling compound was not applied correctly, so our floor is on a huge slope. There is a huge 10mm gap from our skirting boards to the new floor which they attempted to fill with caulk. There are tons of small cuts which shouldn't be there. The LVT was never acclimatised for 24hrs beforehand, it is now lifting all over the place. The planks have been laid wrong giving an ugly step pattern. The cuts along the edges have not been scribed properly, they are banana shape rather than flush with the edges. There was levelling compound splashed all over my front door and front patio slabs. After complaining months ago Carpet Right are refusing to help at all. Please look at the Carpet Right Exeter Google reviews to see pictures of the state our home has been left in. Save yourself from endless hassle and do not use this company. The customer service is an absolute disaster. They refuse to accept any responsibility for sending someone so unqualified. We were so excited to finally have new flooring fitted, only to be left with a damaged home, a hideous unfinished floor and now the stress of small claims court/arbitration.
UPDATE: Dean, you are not investigating anything. I have an email from your customer services saying they won't help us at all. You are doing nothing to make anything right. Please at least be honest about your company's response to our complaint.

When I ordered the Carpet I specifically said that I could not collect and it would need to be delivered.
I have just had to chase the store as it is over 2 weeks since I bought the Carpet and have a fitter booked.
The Carpet was there waiting for me to collect.
Firstly, I had no notification that the carpet had arrived ( I was beginning to stress about it)
Secondly there was no record of me asking for it to be delivered.
I feel let down. I was going to order another carpet from you but am now having second thoughts due to your poor customer service.

David visited my home to measure up the kitchen and show me samples…. No pushy salesman tactics… listened to what I wanted… I felt comfortable allowing him into my home which is important when you live alone… explained the process well …thankyou David

I am writing to express my utter frustration and anger at the abysmal service I have received from Carpetright regarding the recent installation of vinyl in my home.

Not only was the initial consultation marred by unprofessional comments from the fitter, insinuating dishonesty among your surveyors, but the subsequent scheduling and communication failures have been nothing short of a nightmare.

Despite confirming an appointment for Wednesday, the fitter failed to show up without any prior notice or explanation. When I reached out for clarification, he casually informed me of a postponement to the following Friday. To my dismay, the same scenario unfolded again on Friday, with no show and no communication.

This double failure to honour appointments is not only unacceptable but has caused me massive inconvenience. I had to completely dismantle our large sofa, disconnect our TV, and move both the TV and the TV unit, all for nothing. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has disrupted my household in an entirely unnecessary way.

As a customer of Carpetright, I expected professionalism and reliability throughout this process. Unfortunately, my experience has been a complete let-down.
The only reason im giving 2 start is because the other fitter did a good job.

A pleasant journey from walking into the store and speaking the a very helpful salesman, the gentleman that came out and measured up to the fitters who have done an excellent job of fitting the carpet. Would certainly recommend.

Its all about the staff and they were brilliant. Explaining products and even putting the samples on underlay so we could take off our shoes and feel how the carpet/underlay pairing worked. I cant speak highly enough about the service offered. We ended up buying exactly what we wanted. A very pleasant buying experience. I would recommend the staff and Company to anyone. Mark and Bev
