I never eat sweets but had a free bag in supermarket order- Eton mess. I am never going to be a sweet eater but now and then I would take 2 to have a nice flavour. I like the natural ingredients.

Dreadful

Dreadful, i ordered a box of their finest selection with 2 large bags of each flavours (for my kids) and they included a sticker sheet as a extra treat?. I asked for an additional sheet, to avoid arguments (and I would've happily paid for it too) to be told "We cannot send an extra sheet" (due to the aforementioned above).

Disappointed in a big way, let the kids squabble, eh?

Scammers?

I placed an order before the big "50 percent off" campaign, which I decided I wanted to return.
I emailed Candy kitten and asked for instructions on how to return as that’s what you’re supposed to do according to their website.
I’ve since had three replies with not one of them actually reading my query, one person thought I was reporting a damaged box, one person thought I wanted a refund without sending anything back and blew me off (incredibly rude) and the last person just sent me a template saying they’re busy and will get back soon. That was a week ago. It’s nearly been three weeks of having this box stood in my hallway, £40 worth of candy which is money I’d like to get back to my bank account. Funny thing is you can only return for 30 days so I'm wondering if that’s what they’re aiming for before they respond.
Would never trust this company with my money again.

So Candy Kittens done a 50% off…

So Candy Kittens done a 50% off promotion which was clearly highly subscribed. This hamper included an advent calendar. I ordered 4 in mid November and I am still waiting for them. Obviously the kids don’t want an advent calendar in the middle of December! They’ve said they’ve sent out replacements which I also haven’t had. It’s a bit of a mess tbf. I won’t be buying here again.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! Ordered advent calendars on the 11th November. Didn’t arrive till the 4th December. Delivered and left outside in the rain for 8 hours, I contacted customer services who gave me a 20% off code as a ‘gesture of goodwill’. Like I’d want to order again, no thanks!

Lovely product with some admin issues

The sweets are gorgeous as expected, the concept and final product look great. There was a delay in production and delivery which resulted in taking 20+ days and missing the start of December. It was dissapointing that it was a known issue yet customers weren't contacted - this could have allowed people time to get a back up calendar in place- unfortunately children aren't so understanding about manufacturing issues. Also and possibly I missed small print but it had to be self assembled which took time and wasn't expected at that price point.

Delivery issues resolved. Great sweets!

Fantastic deal on half price sweets and calendars for the children. Delivery was delayed but it was to be expected. When it arrived, I was disappointed because my box was delivered open with a few items missing- however the rest of it was in lovely condition. I contacted to say about the issue to see how it would be resolved and already replacement items have been dispatched with no questions asked- brilliant customer service and tasty sweets. Thank you 😊

Very poor customer service and no items

Like so many other people in here ordered advent calendars and never turned up. Generic response tracking that does not work and confusion on when the item was actually sent if at all. It is a real shame because the sweets are great and we were looking forward them

I took advantage of the 50% off…

I took advantage of the 50% off discount code and bought some Christmas presents for an absolute STEAL! Yes the shipping was delayed, but seriously, did you die? The discount was an error which they fulfilled and then coupled with the strikes, I was expecting it to take a little longer.

Anyway, great sweets!

NO ADVENT CALENDERS ON DEC 4TH

Ordered Nov 11th, two advent calenders and a bundle. No tracking, no delivery, generic response, very annoying!

Awful customer service.
Dec 4th no advent calenders.. Embarrassing!?!!
UPDATE:
Eventually they responded today, parcel would be delivered today but they promised to refund me. Got home parcel arrived advent damaged.

Unreliable

We can’t say anything about the Advent calendar yet because after 14 days it has not arrived and this is not only to blame on the postal strike as the order was only dispatched after 8 days.

Terrible terrible TERRIBLE experience…

Terrible terrible TERRIBLE experience ordering from Candy Kittens! I took advantage of a guerilla marketing gimmick on November 10th where they pretended they were leaking the founder's fiance's private 50%-off discount code, and ordered a christmas hamper and some additional advent calendars thinking I was being very organised. A week later I realised the items had not arrived, so I sent them an email, no response. Contacted them on insta DM, same thing. It was only when other people started making the same complaint that they finally addressed the issue on their social media and via an infuriatingly flippant newsletter. To those of us with a modicum of common sense, it's clear they decided to put out this code without limiting the number of times it had been used, and without having inventory or the warehouse to handle it in place. Classic business mistake that you wouldn't expect from a company like Candy Kittens and in this day and age. To add insult to injury, they continued to market the advent calendars on social media and the founder continued with his bloody irritating instagram posts, all the while ignoring the hundreds of comments from angry customers. It's now December 3rd and I still haven't received advent calendars ordered on November 10th. Complete and utter disgrace, I will never be ordering from them again.

Outstanding customer care

Apart from the fact the sweets are delicious, the customer service that I received today from Laura was outstanding.
There had been an error with my order - I get it, these things happen - and Laura sorted me out so quickly and with a lovely message telling me I'm amazing *blush*

No advent calender despite order placed 11 Nov

Ordered on 11th November. Order has been dispatched since 27th November but no sign. Absolutely waste of money. No order, no advent calendar for my kids. Order coming with Yodel apparently on 3rd Dec. No good as had to buy replacement advent calendars to start on 1st Dec. Do not recommend.

hopeless

Ordered advent calendars on 11th November. Not shipped until 25th, and not arrived yet (2nd December).

Communication has been poor, blaming Black Friday (way after I ordered) and postal strikes - though they didn't ship for more than 10 days. No responsibility or maturity from the company - trying to pass off their marketing campaign as a mistake and suggesting we customers should be grateful.

My order is now stuck in the either with a courier who can give no timeline for delivery.

Update: delivery turned up today in broken box - really badly packed - no idea if all the items where in there - I refused to accept it.

Will be CandyCats not Kittens by the time the order arrives

Terrible company. Ordered advent calendar amongst others on 10th Nov, its now 2nd December and still hasn't arrived.

The discount code was a marketing ploy it wasn't "leaked" as per their excuse, the email had an unsubscribe footer meaning it was sent from a marketing system, how dumb do they think the customer base are.

Updates were lacking and when they came they passed the blame onto "honouring the leaked code" or "royal mail strikes". How can one blame Royal Mail when they don't even have the damn items to begin with?!

It's easy enough to only sell what you have in the warehouse on the website but greed took over and you oversold hoping to make more £££. You then under delivered massively and took no responsibility.

To add the icing on the cake, the needle in the haystack review that is 5* yesterday is from the UK Sales Lead completely faking a positive experience trying to help the sinking ship that is Candy Kittens. Embarrassing and very unethical.

As per another poster on Twitter, by the time the items are delivered its CandyCats not Kittens.
