Excellent service all round
I've visited the shop and used the online service. Both have been amazing and I've been able to obtain everything I've wanted. Really friendly in store service and excellent online service. Well packed and prompt delivery. Have just placed another order and will continue to use them.

Great service, one small niggle.
A swift, well packaged delivery and great prices. Staff very helpful with sorting out my delivery issue. One small niggle, I deliberately ordered 2 packets of 250g sugarpaste and this was substituted for one 500g pack. I ordered the two small packs for a reason (ie I am unlikely to use that much in one go and it won't keep for a time when I need it again). This is my only complaint but I did expect to receive what I have ordered or be contacted to ask if I want a substitute item if this wasn't available. Hope this feedback is taken in the spirit it is intended.

Sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the substitution,
We normally always e-mail if an item is out of stock, you should have received an e-mail from us, but having spoken to our staff we can see this did not happen and that they had substituted two 250g black for one 500g black, and had wrongly assumed that this was the same.
We'll try harder, thank you for your feedback.
p.s You can successfully store sugarpaste icing, if you wrap any left over icing in a sandwich (preferably not a zip lock bag) you can store for a week, or pop in the freezer for several months depending on your freezer.

On line order
I placed my order on line and received it very quickly and it was extremely well packaged. Also if note, the cake boxes I ordered were really good quality, better than the ones I usually buy from a different source. In the past I have telephoned the shop to ask some advise on which cutter to use for a particular flower I was making and the best way to approach it and they could not have been more helpful. Would definitely use again.

Ordered the 60th birthday ribbon to go round a cake. It arrived promptly and was very pretty. Unfortunately, I used some sugar water to stick it to the cake and found that it marked the ribbon, I'll know next time!

We can't understand why you would give such a poorly rated review?
We dispatched your order promptly, which you received on time and the ribbon was pretty, and it is what you ordered.
We would never recommend any of our ribbons be stuck to a cake with sugar water as it would always mark it? Normally ribbon is attached at the back of the cake using double sided tape, or a small amount of royal icing.
We can't understand this poor review, we didn't do anything wrong.
